~I'M THANKFUL~

GOOD MORNING, WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ....... Press '1' for English. Press '2' to disconnect until you learn to speak English

And remember only two defining forces have ever Offered to die for you,

Jesus Christ

And the American Soldier.

One died for your soul,

The other for your freedom.
Standing proud in the front is My Grandson Jacob at Ft. Hood, Texas. I'm Thankful for you....Grandma blowing you kisses baby boy....

As Thanksgiving is this week, I think we all take the time to think about what we have to be thankful for....

I'm always thankful for my Family....I wished we could all be together...but each of my daughters now have their own children and grand children, I'm Thankful to God for allowing me to survivor cancer so I could see that life does do a full circle...Life is a BEAUTIFUL place to be....
I'm Thankful that each of my Daughters have wonderful husbands and children and Grand children.....

I'm Thankful for my home that gives me shelter, When so many don't have home's anymore...

I'm Thankful I can open my cupboard and have food...when so many don't....

I'm Thankful to Len who came into my life after losing my Wally, and who looked beyond my years and wrinkles but looked into my heart... When so many are alone...

I'm Thankful for Candace my Grand Daughter who gave up important 2 years of her life to live with me after Wally died...I'm Thankful for the wonderful young man Branden that she married and loves her to death....

I'm Thankful for the Doctors at Dallas Children's Hospital that Saved Baby Kyra's life...

I'm Thankful for all my Blogging friend that have taken the time to pray with me this year, to just come by and say Hi !! You really don't know how Thankful I truly am for this....

I'm so THANKFUL to all our Service men and women who give me this freedom .....To have this life that I'm so Thankful for....

I'm Thankful that I live in the United States of America.....

But the most Important one I'm THANKFUL for is GOD, who have made all of this possible for me and each of us....

As all of us bow our head's and give Thanks on Thanksgiving....Remember life is not about the material things, its about the IMPORTANT things we give Thanks for....

May all of you have a Blessed Thanksgiving on your side of the mountain....I will see all of you ( I hope) after Thanksgiving.....

It is beginning to look like Christmas on your blog! Very pretty. Your list of things to be thankful for is wonderful, while my list might have some differences...I'm thankful for many of the same things. Thank you for giving me such a warm welcome around here. It really helped me keep going when I didn't know what I was doing. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

I will figure it out another time. Yours look so good!!

We all have so much to be grateful for..and you did wonderfully in listing them all.
My list would be endless..but yours probably could be also. You just have your thoughts together and I do not. I seldom do anymore.

One thing for certain is that I am glad you are in my life. I know I have said it before..but you have meant so much...so VERY much!

Gloria... I just had to come by on Thanksgiving Eve and tell my mother that I love her! :-) Girl, I do, you know. You are such a sweetie pie, and I wish you and Len were here to go on a double date with Mr. Magpie and me. He didn't feel he could make the trip to NC, so we got reservations for "brunch" tomorrow. I waited to the last minute to make them hoping he'd feel like going to NC but he didn't, so we have to get up and go early to eat. We are going to a beautiful restaurant that reminds me of YOU! You'd love it, Gloria... it's in a hotel from the 1800's. Very fancy dining room. If you were here, I would just snatch you up so quick it would make your head snap. LOL! Since you're across the earth, I'm going to be sending all of my loving thoughts your way and hoping that the Lord will just bless your socks off!

Happy Thanksgiving from your bird of a daughter...

XO,

Sheila :-)
