~Stick a fork in me~

Hello guys, Well after a 6 months the bathroom off the kitchen is DONE...I tell you this has been a nightmare..What started out as a broken shower pan ended up being a whole new bathroom..from new studs, sheet rock, electrical, flooring, marble shower, toilet and vanity and vessel sink..So it was not an easy fix nor a cheap one..There was not one thing we could save from the old bathroom..
I adore the crown molding we put up here..The ceiling is painted a very light lilac and the wall are a pewter gray color..

I love this vessel sink..I got it from Lowe's

Not much room on the vanity top...I also ordered this faucet for it as it so reminds me of an old hand pump

The shower curtain and valance I made..I got 4 of these toile drapes from Hospice about 2 years ago for $6.50 and just knew one day I could use them..Just added some black ribbon to the top and bottom..

Love my new floor

It matches the marble shower..the faucets I got from Lowe's also  the shower shelves..
The white shower curtain is from Kmart I just added a band of fabric I already had to kinda match the toile valance

I also love the arch above the shower..Crown chandy I got from France

Old iron stool that use to be white that I painted flat black and recovered with more of the toile drapery fabric..

French plant stand also was white..just thought it would be a great place to put some white fluffy bath towels..under the stand is a french basket to hold wash cloths..

Lamp shade I made like 15 years ago..and towel rack I got from Rosemary at " Villabarnes" I made loops for the hand towels so they would hang better

I also made the acid etch mirror about the same time that Moses parted the red sea's..

I also hung a few of my Icarts above the flower stand..I painted the frames flat black and of course I had to add a Bust to the mix..It's kinda of my signature mark ever since Vanna ( *winks) at delusions of grandeur got me started on another collection..ha ha!! Oh *winks* Len said to tell you THANKS- Not

I also love my old Ice tong toilet paper holder..doesn't everyone have one?? I have had this paper holder since chickens had lips..

Glenda at Tootsie Time...send this sweet little cherub to me in 2008..I love him on the back of the toilet..See he got his eyes covered...So go ahead and have a seat he won't tell..

I notice everyone in Blog land seems to add flowers for staging so I added these ha ha!! Guess you could say I put them in a water bowl..

So there you have one half of my new bathroom..and next week I'll show you the other side..

I am joining these parties this week
Thanks so much ladies for hosting these fun parties each week for us..
Until next time from my mountain to yours..
Hugs and smiles Gloria

Gloria- It looks so nice. Isn't that the way it is? One thing leads to another and costs 10 times more than you planned and takes 5 times as long as you thought to do the project. Love the black and white toile..it is very fresh and smart! xo Diana

Hi Gloria,

Love the new bathroom, everything is fabulous.
It is a costly room to do, I know when we had to replace the floor from a leak, everything needed to be all redone too.

Hope you and your family are all well.
