~MY GARDEN GUEST BATH~

Hello guys, Well are you ready to see my olden Garden guest bath....All of this stuff I got from family, Second Sunday swap meet or thrift stores... How do you like my new old window...I got this yesterday at second Sunday and just knew it called my name...Len just got it hung for me today...Oh can you love an old painted and chippy window...You bet your panes you can...OMG I just sounded like Shelia at "Note Songs"didn't like...ha ha!!

See the sweet little bunny hiding out there...

Now girls this is my olden claw foot tub...with the shower bar...I already told you how I found this tub in my friend field and had it redone...Also I have alot of old picket fences in this room...

Now you really can see the angles these wall are on...Hey it's an attic room...

Faucets...these I ordered from a place in Murphy's Calif along with the shower bar... Pedestal sink also got out of my late FIL yard and had Miracle method redo it....

I love bunnies and of course you have to have some extra TP so what better place to put in than in an tin bunny basket...I have air refresher in the bunny planter...

Old wheel barrel that I have dried flowers in...Also one of my old watering cans....Hey remember this is all about the gardens and bunnies..

Another old window that I put 2 old chippy shutters on each side of....

An old hay fork that I hung an old straw hat from...see the bunnies peaking in the wall paper...

Now this old buffet I got 10 years ago to use for this bathroom...as I have no storage in here and needed a place to put towels, extra TP Etc...

The top with my 2 old Bunnies I got last year from second Sunday that came out of a flowers shop display from ca. 1950 these are made of straw....

This pitcher I got from Hospice thrift store 2 months ago....Just loved it...
The basin or bowl was Len's and I just put them together...love the little green flowers on it... This came from England...And the dresser scraf my Mama made ...sighs..

This is an apple basket but I use it as a hamper.... Hey that still gardening stuff right!!
The valances match the quilts in the bedroom... And Yes I am still working on that room...maybe someone day soon it will be done...

An old medicine cabinet that came from Calif.... I had this in the barn but knew I could use it here...

Now lets open it and see what's inside...So if your nosey now your chance to take a peak ha ha!!!

Why its old Cold Cream and tooth powder...all olden stuff even olden stuff for old Gas ha ha!!

An Olden first aid stuff...See I am well prepared for you to use my guest bathroom...
Well guys I hope I didn't bore you once again by my old house...But I do love my antiques...
May all of you have a great day and thanks for coming by and seeing me..
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

I love that window girl and I wish my bathrooms were big enough to put an antique piece of furniture in for the towels and stuff....I'd even settle for a pretty chest to use for the vanity area!
I loved seeing the close up of your stove girl..that is so neat and sorry to hear you got sick eating all that seafood! SomeBunny has an awesome bathroom!! Love, love the painted window. Oh, you have the imagination to do just about anything!! I am in love with picket fences and I think I would use them everywhere I could. You have lots of nice touches, the wood dresser for towels (gorgeous) and I love the claw foot tub. My husband bought one for moi (!!!) at the lake. He bought it new and could not find anything with claw feet that wasn't waaaay over our budget!! So it looks a little more modern, but that is okay with me. I just want to soak after a long day of sun, sand and lake water!!

Love everything, Gloria!! Great job!!

xoxo

Mornin' Sis...

Ohhhh...you got it done!!! Girl, I love, love, LOVE your Garden Guest bath!!! And it's so spacious...love that! I bet your guest bath is as big...if not bigger than my frenchy office, Girl! I've always wanted a bath large enough to actually put furniture in...and that antique buffet is fabulous!!! I don't know if I would have thought to put a buffet in the bath but as you said...it's perfect to hold towels and bath supplies! I just love that idea!!! It's a fabulous piece...I bet the guys had fun getting that up the steps too...hehe! I love all of the architectural lines of the ceiling in that room...that just adds to the charm of the room!!! I think that your garden/bunny theme is just perfect...and you know how I love all of those little bunnies...and that precious bunny wallpaper is sooooo cute!!! Girl, you've really outdone yourself decorating this beautiful bath!!! I loveeee your antique claw foot tub...those brass fixtures are gorgeous!!!

Okay...now you really scored with finding that fabulous handpainted olden window...the beautiful flowers are just perfect for the decor!!! It's just gorgeous with the sunlight shining through it!!! Sure gives me some great ideas for all the old, old windows that we found over at Russ' dad's place!!! Hehe!!! I love all of the picket fencing too! I have to say that one of my favorite things in that pretty bath is that old wheelbarrow full of those beautiful dried flowers!!! I just love that old wheelbarrow!!! Well Sis...you did a fabulous job with your guest bath...and I'm still holdin' out to actually get to see and use it in person some day! Hehe!!!

I thought you had the bedroom finished...now you have my curiosity up??? What all else are you doing in there??? I thought it was just perfect when you posted it the other day!!!

Sis..I don't know how I missed your olden stove post! So sorry!!! I just read down through that post...how interesting!!! I always wondered how they modernized those olden stoves...now I know!!! It's a magnificent piece and I think it just makes your beautiful blue & white kitchen with all of your fabulous collections in there!!! Your stove is like the "icing on the cake"! Loved reading the story about your Grandma and you too...so sweet! Such precious memories!!! Can't believe that they didn't finish the ceramic stove top right and it cracked on you...I just know you were heart sick over that one...so happy that you were able to get one that they did right!!! Sheeeshhh...I wonder if someone got fired over that deal? That was a very costly mistake!!!

Well Sis...so happy that you came by today! I'll talk with you later Sweetie!

Love ya,
Chari
PS...hey, did you notice that your new white pitcher that you have in Len's wash bowl is exactly like the one I last got? Hehe!!! I did a post on it a couple of months ago. I had to look at the photos again...and sure enough, they're identical!!! Great minds think alike, Sis!!!

Now...he's decided that he needs to be ON ME at all times! this is not a good thing for a girl with ADD...who is always on the move...
