**** HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY****

Well guys I thought I would do a Fourth of July table for you today...again I shopped my house and the Dollar Tree !!! Please go by and see our Susan at Between Naps on the porch to see all the great Tablescapes out there today for your enjoyment...

Paper Lantern Dollar Tree...

I cut me some Camille from my garden and added some flags and the Blue vase I got from Dollar tree last year...I just love these sweet little flowers and after they dry they make the best hot tea YUM!! I planted one package of this about 15 years ago and it has spread all over my 11 acres now....

Used my ceiling light fixture again for the centerpiece...just added some little star lights and a Red White and Blue candle to it...And of course more Reindeer moss...Oh I love this stuff...Another thing I grow up here on my trees, it will only grow in the shade at winter time, but it also dries beautiful ...

Salt and Pepper are really my old ones that have roosters on the front just turned them around for the day...ha ha!! Hey they work for me...

Napkins I got from Hospice thrift store a few months back...got eight for $1.50...Added the bows from Dollar tree...Place mats also what else DOLLAR TREE !!

Cobalt Blue plates also Dollar Tree last year...Oh girls don't you love that store...

Red Plates also Dollar tree they came 4 for a Dollar...plastic but who cares at that price...I will put them in my picnic basket....

Oh I know what does fish have to do with the Fourth...well I just had these and I wanted to use them like Pretend chargers ha ha!! these I got a set of service for 12 about 12 years ago..they are all hand made by a shop in Sutter Creek,Ca called "Fine Eye" I have every piece this man made including the canisters set....Just love his detail in his work...

Glasses Dollar Tree...Last year...

So there you have my pitiful attempt at my Fourth of July table for you ha ha!!!

No matter what each and everyone of you is doing for the Fourth may it be a great and safe one for you...Hope you all eat lots of wonderful food and spend time with your family and friends....My Daughter # 1 and 3 is coming so I know I will have a wonderful Fourth...And PLEASE take a moment to Thank all our servicemen and women who give us this FREEDOM to enjoy this day...**** "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA"**** At 233 years old your just getting better....

Love and take care!!

Gloria, I just love your tablesetting. Those cute little bow napking rings are wonderful, and what great napkins. I love the fish plate as a charger, it is just gorgeous. I am with you in that I really do enjoy the Dollar Tree, they just have some of the neatest things. Your light fixture centerpiece is so cute. You always have such great imagination. Love it. Have a super 4th and be safe. Hugs, Marty

Hey!!! I'm the first... as long as I don't take too long!!! Beautiful tablescape, Gloria. Uncle Sam would be proud to sit at your table!! I was at Dollar Tree today and I DID NOT see half of the great stuff you have! Poor me! I did get the flags and some decorations but my store really doesn't have a lot of dishes. I would have been really happy with those blue glasses. They will go with everything. The fish plates are so cute (chargers indeed!!). Up at the lake, fish~anything is very popular. My husband refuses to eat his sandwiches on anything but these glass fish plates we've had forever. I like yours.

I like everything. You have very innovative ideas like the light fixture as a centerpiece and turning the roosters away from the camera. You are a sly fox!!

I wish you and your family lots of great food, big smiles all around, a lit up sky at night and wonderful blessings!!

xoxo
Janie

PS I saw the paper lanterns but I didn't think they would look this cute~maybe I should go back...

Gloria, this table looks fabulous! I can never find anything good at my Dollar Tree. How is that fair? Although, I don't see the possibilities in things the way you do.
Now that reindeer moss is totally cute, but ya know, microscopic critters live in there, right? Same with the Spanish moss we have down here.

Gloria that table setting is far away from pitiful. Outstanding! Can your hear me clapping? I think that it is absolutely beautiful. What a great job. I too love the Dollar Tree. You will notice I had some of those little bows about my place too. The face on the tree and my little frog. Bows are so versatile. I just love them for everything, and after Christmas I buy up all that I can just for this reason.(The silver, the gold, the red, and sometimes we find other colors.) Never pass up the sale on bows I always say. Yea Gloria. You go girl. "Country Hugs", Sherry

How nice that two of your daughters will be with you to celebrate this most patriotic of holidays. God bless America. Hugs, Pam

I came back by to mention that I am hosting a Christmas in July Tablescape Party at my Playing Dishes blog. There will be one held each Saturday this month. Please come and participate or at least visit. A holiday tablecloth will be given away on the last Saturday, July 25. Info on signups is available by clicking my sidebar memes available on both my blogs.

I am also having a weekly Christmas giveaway at my Christmas Memories in My Heart blog. Weekly entries are closed out a midnight on Wednesday for this.

Hopefully some of you tablescape regulars will pull together a tablescape for CIJ or pull out some photos from last year to post.

Happy CIJ!

Wow, this is such a beautiful red, white, and blue tablescape! I just love a gorgeous setting, but I love it even more if I find out that it was made of things thrifted or found at places like Dollar Tree. I too love that store! When I have a little bit of money again, I am going back and pick up some more stuff!

One of my favorite things about that tablescape is that light fixture. It make and absolutely beautiful centerpiece.

Oh, someone told me that there is something on my blog that you would just love. In one of my last posts, I featured an old general store in a small town I visited. Check it out if you'd like!
