~ DOES THIS COUNT~

Hello everyone...Well it's that time once again to play with our dishes...with our hostess Susan at "BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH" I also thought I would join in with thrifty Thursday with Leigh at "TALES FROM Bloggeritaville" for another fun day ha ha!! Hey I'm a thrifty chick so that's counts right!!

These are my newest addition to my family of dishes...I got these at Second Sunday Swap meet...

Now here they are in my sun room just waiting for me to unpack them...

Now here we are waiting in the kitchen for me to wash them all...

Now I looked these up at replacement Ltd. to fine out what I could on these...They were made in ca.1940 and I got a service for eight...with 2 oval serving bowls, 2 platter, and the Creamer and sugar and, fruit bowls, bread plates. luncheon plates, and soup bowls with the saucers...

I also got 6 crystal Fostoria wine glasses...these I paid $10.00 for all

Now here we are all washed sitting on my cutting board...just waiting for a new home...

Now look at these sweet soup bowls with saucers....love the handles on them...

Ok we finally made it into my dining room...See the meat platters there...

Oh I just loved this Cream and gold .....

Of course they joined a new Toile Tea pot and sugar and creamer I also got....Plus some clear glass plates...

Also they are joined by Place mats and napkins for further Tablescapes...

Now guys at Replacement Ltd. to buy this China would have cost me $ 737.54 for all the pieces I got Sunday...But are you ready for this...I kid you not my friends I got all of this for $40.00 plus the wine glasses for a Grand total of a fifty dollar bill...Now tell me I wasn't doing my Happy Dance plus my Irish jig...WOW!! now I only hope I can find the time to do a Tablescape with them by next week...Did I do good guys or what...Hey its on my table so does that count as a Tablescape ha ha!!

May all of you have a great day...and go by and see Susan and Leigh to see some tables that are put together and some great thirfty things today ha ha!!

Hugs and smiles....Glria

What a steal!! I've been to replacements limited and ebay looking for a dinner plate for my Victorian Christmas by Johnson Brothers but the plates always run about $20.00-40.00 a piece and I just won't pay that! You go girl, you must go to the right places! They're beautiful. I love neutral dishes! Okay, except for my Christmas dishes that I love and could kick myself for breaking the dinner plate several years ago.

Gloria, Try sprinkling cinnamon all around your kitchen counter tops. It burns the ants & should keep them away. It's messy, but better than ants! ☺ Diane

Also to let you know the next "Cloche Party" is scheduled for Sept. 11th for the Fall season. Be sure to grab the button on my sidebar to remind you and to let all your friends know. See you there.
