~A Love Story ~

Hello Guys, Today I'm joining in with my Sweet Sis Chari at " Happy To Design" for repost Sunday...Please go by and see my sweet Sis..This is a post I did back in Sept 09

Bubba meets the girl of his dreams,His first cousin Patty Ann.

He takes her out for a special dinner, And shows her a good time at the Redneck Carnival at Diggerland.

The next day they spend together and Bubba shows off his water skiing skills.

Later that night, he romances her under Special mood lighting.

A week or so later, Bubba realizes This relationship is getting serious.He makes reservations for a Valentine's Day dinner. Patty Ann was So impressed with his thoughtfulness,

A month later he proposes to Patty Ann,

And he buys her a really purdy Engagement ring.

On the day of their wedding, he Tells her how much he loves her Just before the ceremony.

Then they're off to their Honeymoon Suite,

Where they open their wedding gifts. Their favorites ?

His was the New BBQ,

Hers was the Chandelier,

Bubba takes his new bride home.

He wants to tidy up the place, So he cuts the grass with his Riding mower.

Then Bubba decides to fix a few Things around the house.He makes the bathroom a little Nicer for his sweetie,

Repairs the mirror on her car,

And installs a new flat screen TV In the living room !

Bubba works hard at his job every day. He does the best that he can with Only a 5th grade education

7 months later, they send Out announcements. Bubba Jr. Has arrived !

Now they are a family. They are so proud of Jr. And marvel At how he gets cuter every day.

8 years later, Jr. Starts kindergarten. Jr. Loves riding on the Redneck School Bus.

After 3 years in kindergarten, Jr. Finally Graduates to first grade. To celebrate, Bubba takes Jr. And his Classmates on a field trip.

Shortly thereafter, Bubba and the family Move to a different state and settle into Their new DREAM HOME on the river,



Where they live happily ever after !

~ Don' t you love Antiquing~

Leaving the mountainFirst Stop Gardenerville, Nv for the Antique car show...Len just love these shows and why not he has 10 cars of his own...I collect inside antiques and he collects old cars...

My Favorite shop in Gardenerville is the Cheshire Antique shop...This is where I got my Candy cabinet.

I love this french stuff...

Wow !! can you believe the price and that's without any chairs or china cabinet or side board...makes me glad I got my complete set back in 1980..Look at the dust on this table for that price ha ha!!

I wanted to bring her home But no room left at the Inn for another one ha ha!!

Snicker's the shop cat...Don't you love the way it is laying too funny!! Just in case you might want to give it a belly rub ha ha!!

This trip we did last Saturday and look on the way home what I seen...the end to a perfect day for Len and me...
May all of you have a Blessed weekend...Candace got off bed rest today and headed out of town for a wedding...She went to the doctor this morning and he told her to go...wants her up and walking now...baby has turned or as the doctor put it "baby is locked and loaded ready to go" She is due a month from today...but the big crisis is now over with all we have to do now is play the waiting game Thank God...I still have to take her 2 times a week to hospital for her NST test to make sure all is well...But she's won't have to take meds after Sunday night to stop the contractions...Thanks again for all your prayers for her and Landen James...Oh I can almost smell that sweet baby boy...

~Welcome Aboard my mountain top ~

Hello Guys, I thought I would show you some random shots of my favorite room on my mountain top...Please wipe the pine tree sap off your feet and "Welcome Aboard" ha ha!!

Grab a Hot mug of coffee and a cookies to warn off the ocean's cool breeze...

I grew up in the San Francisco bay area and the ocean was only a half hour away as the sea gulf flies...So when I moved up to this mountain top it was the one thing I really missed...So what to do!!! I know I'll bring the ocean to me ha ha!!

This four seasons sun room was added on in 06...See that bathing suit hanging there that was my Mama's from the fifties....sighs

Love my little boat table with the cute oars legs...

I have dishes to even match the room as we do love to dine out here....

Even the flat ware has lighthouses and sail boats on it....

I keep all the dishes in this old drop front desk...that I painted white and painted the ship on it... Hey it's all about the ocean...

My diving bell helmet from the USS Navy 1941 a ships port hole with sea shells in it...
It sits on my soda frig....

update: on Candace...she is now 35 weeks along and only have 1 more week of bed rest and then the Doctor wants her to be up and walking as much as she can...In fact he told her to go to the mall even YIPPEE!!...Hey I even told her husband it's Doctors ordered ha ha!! She still have to go to the Hospital 2 times a week for her NST test...or as I love to call it our Gilligan's Island Cruise day...we never know how long they will keep her...Last Tuesday we went in at 9am and she started having contractions and bleeding and it took until 11 pm before they could stop them...

We met with the diabetes specialist again on Friday...But she seems to feel as soon as Candace has the baby the gesational diabetes will go away at that time...

I know I have neglected my blog lately...but really have not had alot of time to blog and take care of Candace...All we want is a healthy Landen James and I will do every thing in my power to see that it happens...We have gotten every thing ready for our sweet little boy to be born...I so appreciate all the prayers you have send to my little family...You girls are the best...There are days when I come home from the hospital and just want to cry and then I see the support system I have and it's like God knows my name...God Bless you all...I love you all to the Moon and back...
