~Welcome Aboard my mountain top ~

Hello Guys, I thought I would show you some random shots of my favorite room on my mountain top...Please wipe the pine tree sap off your feet and "Welcome Aboard" ha ha!!

Grab a Hot mug of coffee and a cookies to warn off the ocean's cool breeze...

I grew up in the San Francisco bay area and the ocean was only a half hour away as the sea gulf flies...So when I moved up to this mountain top it was the one thing I really missed...So what to do!!! I know I'll bring the ocean to me ha ha!!

This four seasons sun room was added on in 06...See that bathing suit hanging there that was my Mama's from the fifties....sighs

it's is right off my kitchen

Full stream ahead mate...My favorite sign as you come into my kitchen...

Love my little boat table with the cute oars legs...

I have dishes to even match the room as we do love to dine out here....

Even the flat ware has lighthouses and sail boats on it....

I keep all the dishes in this old drop front desk...that I painted white and painted the ship on it... Hey it's all about the ocean...

My diving bell helmet from the USS Navy 1941 a ships port hole with sea shells in it...
It sits on my soda frig....

I love my Ocean blue floor..

All set for dinner...

Ship's lantern

Ship's cleat's

Day time view of the ceiling...see even my fan is clear and I love the ocean blue light..
See all my beautiful cedar and pine tree's
Good night you guys and Thanks for coming by and seeing my ocean sun room in the mountains...Hope all this sea mist didn't ruin your hair do ha ha!!
I'm linking up to our sweet Marty's for Table top Tuesday at "A Stroll Thru Life"...Please go by and see our wonderful hostess...Don't you just love that lady? I know I sure do...I'm also linking up to Smiling Sally's for Blue Monday another lady I just love to pieces...

update: on Candace...she is now 35 weeks along and only have 1 more week of bed rest and then the Doctor wants her to be up and walking as much as she can...In fact he told her to go to the mall even YIPPEE!!...Hey I even told her husband it's Doctors ordered ha ha!! She still have to go to the Hospital 2 times a week for her NST test...or as I love to call it our Gilligan's Island Cruise day...we never know how long they will keep her...Last Tuesday we went in at 9am and she started having contractions and bleeding and it took until 11 pm before they could stop them...

We met with the diabetes specialist again on Friday...But she seems to feel as soon as Candace has the baby the gesational diabetes will go away at that time...

I know I have neglected my blog lately...but really have not had alot of time to blog and take care of Candace...All we want is a healthy Landen James and I will do every thing in my power to see that it happens...We have gotten every thing ready for our sweet little boy to be born...I so appreciate all the prayers you have send to my little family...You girls are the best...There are days when I come home from the hospital and just want to cry and then I see the support system I have and it's like God knows my name...God Bless you all...I love you all to the Moon and back...

Until next time from my Mountain to yours,

Hugs and smiles Glria

Love your seafaring theme..... it is so well put together!
Your sunroom is just like ours except we opted for a solid roof because of our heavy snow-loads.
Have a Great Week!

Oh Gloria, God does know your name and that sweet family of yours too! I love your coastal room. You have decorated this so well it's just like sitting in someone's beach house somewhere! How could anyone not feel beachy in this place. I am in love with the ceiling of that room though, amazing! I especially love how you even found a clear ceiling fan so as not to ruin the veiw, what a clever idea! Wonderful space!

This is such a fun room. Of course I'm all about bringing the beach home! It is so different from the rest of your house, I was a bit shocked...of course you have some of the coolest nautical items (just like the rest of the house). I'm glad that Candace is still doing well. That is a long day at a hospital, you must be so exhausted...she is so lucky to have you. We will all be here when things get back to normal for you...waiting to see all those baby pictures!

Hi Gloria,
This is just wonderful! My hubby would drool over your home as he grew up on the water and we are basically beach bums this time of year. Love the nautical theme! I love the sign too! I should get one like that as I hate it when folks leave their shoes on! Great post filled with interesting photos and talk. Thanks for sharing and have yourself a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

That sweet Granddaughter of yours has been through a lot...
I know everyone will be overjoyed when it is all over and Mom and precious baby boy is fine! Such a relief it will be.
How are you doing, dear friend. I am amazed all you are doing with what you yourself have been through.
How is your Hubby doing?
Just one more week...and the worst will be over I hope. She will be forever grateful for all the help and support you have given her! She will always, always remember.

My Grandma came and stayed with me during the last month of my 6th child. Left Grandad alone and lived with me that last nearly two months. I still see her standing at the kitchen sink with the breeze blowing her gray hair back...doing MY dishes...
How I MISS that dear woman!!

My love to you, Gloria. Please do take care of you too!

Now for your 4 seasons room. I LOVE it all. Everything in there is just perfect and you do have it all decorated so beautifully. I got a kick out of the bathing suit. I think I had one that was almost identical. I would wear it again if I could find it. lol Hope you are having a super day and thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty

I have always loved this room, Gloria. I love every single accessory that you added. I don't think you missed any detail, it's perfect! About the store, oh, I rented a room (a little over 10 x 11 ft) within a store in the antiques row downtown and I am going to sell whatever, lol, anything I can give up from home and any bargain I can find in stores. I thought it would be fun since I love shopping. And I don't have to be at the store. The store owner that I am renting from will sell for me and I only pay her a straight rent, no commission, so it's ideal, especially since I love arranging and rearranging too. Wish me luck, my friend!...Christine

Of course, this is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE ROOMS! I adore it. I want it on the back of my house! I always love seeing this room, but I really loved seeing all of the ocean decor up close. That little boat tray with your pretty lighthouse cups is just wonderful, and also that cute, cute little boat table! All of your wonderful unique ocean-themed antiques just add to the ambiance of this room. But that ceiling - which I first fell in love with on RMS - I can't get enough of seeing that incredible ceiling! laurie
