~TO PEE OR NOT TO PEE~

That is the question....

Like most folks in this country,

I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes & the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck, in my case,I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem).

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.

I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their BUTT----doing drugs while I work.

Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I guess we could call the program
"URINE OR YOU'RE OUT"!
Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
I should have the pictures of the baby shower up by tommorow it was great but I'm so tired now ha ha!!

I agree with you on this one!! I had to take a urine test for my job because it is in a health facility. They needed to make sure we are not doing drugs or whatever. Not a good example for the patients.

Urine or you're out! You crack me up. I'm sure that the powers that be will figure out a way to make a urine test cost a billion dollars, but other than that I think it's a great idea. Fair's fair. Can't wait to hear all about the baby shower. How is Candace doing? Hugs, Kat

Yes, m'am! You've got my vote and it does make a lot of sense. Why hasn't someone in Washington ever thought of this? You should run for something, Gloria!! :) I read this to Mr. Precious and he said 'that needs to be done'
Hope you're doing well and Candace is doing well and tiny one to be is doing well!!

I say if they are sitting on their butts anyway...might as well be doing something productive...right? And while you're at it...suggest that those who distribute that same money take a jar and wait too!

I am shouting the biggest AMEN I can shout, you are soooo right. When will they listen to us. They would probably just start robbing and killing us for our money for their drugs. Such a complicated mess we have ourselves in these days.

Yup!! I agree. Of course I nearly fell over when I noticed the price of cigarettes the other day. I don't care if you smoke or not (I don't) but I find it interesting that the poorest people have a habit that costs....35$ and up for a carton????!!! And they always seem to have cigarettes when they are sittin on their butt.

I totally agree with you, Gloria. I used to work as a lab. tech and I cannot count how many urines I have collected for drug testing and I don't think it is for any unemployed patients who just collect $. It is mostly to check employment candidates....Christine

I agree 1 gazillion percent with what you said.. I'd also like to see the billions spent on medical for folks who blow themselves up in meth labs put back in the system for people who have worked and through no fault if their own lost their health care..
I'd also like to see every senator tested and if they fail- aloha..

excellent post- I enjoyed it very much..
