Today must be such a hard day for you! I hope that you are able to fill it with activity so that your heart will be lighter. I know that loss never gets easier - I just hope that you know how much those of use here care for you!

That was a beautiful poem my friend. I wish I were right beside you to give you a big hug.
Take it easy today okay?
Blessings to you,
Kymber

Oh Gloria, what a beautiful but sad post. Your mother was such a beautiful woman (and I can tell from you that she was beautiful both outside and in) and I so wish she could have stayed with you longer. Same goes for Wally. But you're right. Some day you will be with them again. Geez, I hope Wally and Len will get along okay... no jealousy and such.

Justine :o )

Thinking of you, dear one. This is such a sweet post. And I'm amazed that they went home on the same day. That's like my friend Trish's mother and brother both going home to the Lord on Good Friday many years apart. Sending much, much love your way, Gloria. I've been missing my loved ones a lot. The 15th is the anniversary of my mother's passing.

XO,

Sheila

Good morning my dear. I think I shared with you that my mother passed away a mere twelve days after your mother. This tribute to her warmed my heart and soul. And have you ever noticed that she resembles the lovely lady in your blog banner?

I'm wrapping my arms around you gently, Dear. And giving you a very long but gentle hug.

The same day... To lose them both, on the 2nd of May. -sigh- Our second child was born and died, a couple of days apart in May also. But happily, we've come to accept this, over the years.

Gentle hugs,
Aunt Amelia

Oh sis...I am just now seeing this...I have been busy with family all day here...I have showed everyone your mama's beautiful embroidered pillowcases..I wish you could have seen mama's face when I showed them to her and she held them as I told her the story behind them...I am sitting here now looking at them and then I see the beautiful picture of your sweet mama...the woman who's very hands created this treasure I know hold...little did she know that her life would one day touch mine and leave such a deep impact on me..not just thru her needle work but thru something even more precious...her beloved daughter...

Girl I can not even begin to imagine the loss and hurt of lossing a mama and then to have lost your soul mate on the same day of the month...my heart hurts for you so my dear friend....

I wish I could be there to hug you and just sit with you and listen to you tell stories of them..to cry with you and to laugh with you..but I can tell you this...you are my hero girl...you inspire me..your strength and your faith...even thru the darkest hour in your life shines for all to see....I love you so my dear friend...go on and cry your sweet tears..how can you not help but miss them..tomorrow is another day and you will rise and wash that pretty face and rejoice in knowing that you were loved so by them and that you will met again...this is a beautiful post Gloria..just like the beautiful soul that wrote it...love ya so girl!

Gloria, How very touching. I have been away from the computer last week and beginning again.
You wrote such beautiful words with meaning and I'm sure your Mom heard them.
Loss is so hard sometimes. Just when we think we are "OK", some memories creep back and stir up our thoughts. I will say some prayers for you also.
I am so glad you have your darling Kyra as she reminds us of life being a cycle.
My thoughts are with you.

Gloria~I was brought to tears by the tender words you wrote about your mom. My mom had Alzheimer too.
I miss her so much....Mothers Day is a toughie, but it's also the time to reflect on the cherished memories that we've created with our lovely moms.

Sweet wishes,

Hi Gloria, Looking at your Mom, I know I would of got along with her right away. Sometimes you just know these things. I love her smile and her dress looks stunning. My heart breaks for you, because I know the pain real well. I was very very close with my mom and she died about five years ago, and you never get over it, not really. Maybe the days are not as bad as others, but you still miss them badly. I still have my moments where I need to call out her name, pretending she 's still here. I know it sounds crazy, but you do whatever it takes to get you through the day. You are a darling Gloria with a wonderful personality that shines through your blogging and I 'm sure you take after your sweet mother.
Mothers are a true treasure!!

Take Care my friend... Big hug to you-
