~Winter Whites~

Hello Guys, I know I have been MIA since last week...I didn't fall off the face of the earth just have a cold to beat all colds...Just before Christmas I redid my hutch in my hallway...added some new scrapbook paper to the back of it...and put in all my white Ironstone and white stuff ha ha!!
I think I like it for now...But that can change...
Don't you love how one little thing can make something you already have give a whole new look??
I ♥ all my Ironstone soup tureen's that I got Hospice and Swap meets for a song ha ha!!
Of course the best thing about seeing this hutch is seeing my Great Grandson Landen James picture on the glass. Thanks for coming by and seeing me...I hope to be up and about within the next few days...At my age I catch everything but men and money ha ha !!

Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and smiles, Gl♥ria

Love your winter whites! I thought about getting a few pieces of ironstone when I found some at a second hand store, but if i did that my hubby would give me way more white than I would want. ( I would be sitting in the yard surrounded by snow). I better stick with my Royal Albert!

Gloria, my sweet friend, it sounds like you've had what I had for a month. I hope and pray that you are better soon. So sorry to hear you've been under the weather.

I adore your hutch, and I marvel at all of those tureens you've found at swap meets. They are so neat! Love the look of all the white pieces in the hutch. I love white dishes.

And I love you and hope and pray you are back in full swing very soon.

XO,

Sheila :-)

P.S. I've got a picture of that cute Johnny Depp if it will make you feel any better. ;-)

I'm sorry to hear that the bug you caught is still hanging around. Whatever it is...and I had it, it's hard to shake. Feel better soon, my friend.

I love what you did with the scrapbook paper...what a fantastic idea! So French and perfect. And I love all of your white dishes. I had been looking for a white soup tureen forever and I finally just paid full price for one. Funny, I haven't used it yet!! lol! But I HAD to have one!

Take care, Gloria! :-)

Oh girly...I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well Miss Glo. :( I just got over being the sickest I've been in 10 years. Bah! I'm happy to be ME AGAIN!

Now...I hope and pray you get well completely. If you are on meds take all of them! I actually took an entire prescription (3 of them) from start to end and I hardly ever do that. I'm thinking of you.

I love your whites but then...I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU SHOW!

Love your heart, too!

Your hutch looks beautiful. I like the idea of being able to change out the background with different scrap paper. There are so many beautiful papers out there. I always just wat to buy some even though I have no idea what I am going to do with it. Your collection of whiteware is just gogeous! I love all those pieces!

Gloria,
You are too, too funny. .. everything but men and money! My grandmother had a similar saying when I'd ask, "Grandma, do you have any . . .(ice cream)?" Her answer,"Let's go look, I usually have everything except wine and money. But I think I might be able to find some wine!" Can you imagine the look on my face after she passed away an I helped my Moma clean under the kitchen cabinet and sure enough. . .there was a bottle of Mogan David Wine! HA! Wouldn't you have loved to have been an angel and see the expression on Grandma's face as she observed my reaction?

Your white china cabinet is absolutely exquisite! February Edition of County Living has nothing up on you! Thank you for such a lovely post and for sharing a photo of your grandson! Lovely!
Fondly,
Pat
