That is so very true Gloria. I learned that the hard way and now despite my crazy schedule, I do try to take me time. I already have some planned for this weekend!

When I was a kid, a stack of romance comic books and a bag of penny candy made me so happy I didn't know what to do. Now, a few new magazines and some yummy sweet dessert...I'm a happy woman. Have a great weekend.

I love that first moment, when you look at the cover, and then look inside at the index and say, "Oh, I want to read that and that, and look at that and that." I am sure you know what I mean! Yes...I'm still a kickin'! Hehe! I had a little time this morning...everyone is still in bed so I thought I'd come by to say hello and see what you've been up to! Sooo happy to see that Candace and "Little One" is doing well!!! I've been having to do a little catching up over here at your place...it feels like "forever" since I've been around! Girl, I haven't even looked at the computer for over a week now! Hehe! I had the bestest time with Cindy and Dan! I'm sooo glad that we were able to meet! We sure enjoyed having them!!! My sis and her husband are still here...we have talked ourselves out! Hehe! I think they are leaving tomorrow but then the kids are coming for a few days! No rest for the weary! Anyway...just wanted to stop by this mornin' with my coffee and see how you were doing! Looks like you are staying real busy between helping Candace and all! Loved your post about the "Under the Freeway Flea Market"! Shoot...I seen that glimmer in Len's eyes while he was looking at the slot machine! Too cute!!! Good morning dear heart, I hope you enjoyed your w/k off. I hope you truly took time for you to sit back and read all your favorite magazines. Yes, we had my Bailey from Thursday until last night.. had to make a couple of emergency runs to the dentist, Mr. P has a terrible tooth problem going on, just another week of doctor runs, in one form or another. I work at the other store all week, not really looking forward to it. Many things around here I should be doing, but not in the mood for those either.. or anything else.. I think I might need a good swift kick in the bottom to get me back to my old self... I spent the day yesterday mowing and trying to get the yard in shape for the week and then we bbq last night.. had a good visit with my Catie... I hope Candace is getting along fine now.. it sure won't be long and you all will be able to hold that bundle of joy in your arms... need to scoot and think about heading to work.... love ya girl... hugs and hugs ~lynne~

I get Reader's Digest and Ladies Home Journal. I used to get Good Housekeeping, but it's really for the younger crowd, so I let my subscription lapse.

Gloria, my caddy drives just like a caddy. :D Oh my goodness! I love it! It is such a smooth ride! We had been having car trouble with our previous vehicle...an Expedition. Hubby was afraid that it was going to leave me stranded some day. So I am so thankful that I will be driving a car that I can count on:) I hope you have a wonderful evening.
