When they came upon a large raging, violent river
Needing to get to the other side, the first man prayed:
God gave him big arms and strong legs...
And he was able to swim across in about 2 hours,
Having almost drowned twice.
After witnessing that, the second man prayed:
God gave him a kayak and strong arms and strong legs...
And he was able to row across In about an hour
After almost capsizing once
God gave him big arms and strong legs...
And he was able to swim across in about 2 hours,
Having almost drowned twice.
After witnessing that, the second man prayed:
God gave him a kayak and strong arms and strong legs...
And he was able to row across In about an hour
After almost capsizing once
The Third man Prayed:
"God, please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross the river."
"God, please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross the river."
Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and Smiles Gl♥ria

I thought the same as you about the table paint, Gloria. First time I saw Jake's work at The Front Porch..I thought milk paint. Our two rockers we had made are done with milk paint.
Thanks for the laugh Gloria, I really needed it today. It's turning into one of "those" weeks:) Thanks for making my day a wee bit brighter! Hugs, Kat

I have always loved this story. You really brought it to life with the photos though.
I would give you the Atta Girl award but I see you are tag free. Too bad Gloria because you do deserve an Atta Girl Award. You are the most generous and caring blogger around. You always are so sincere and kind. You make such a huge effort to welcome everyone. You make blogging a pleasure. Atta Girl.

Good Morning Gloria Sweetie...
Oh girl I have got to tell you, I am so laughing outloud. I need this today. After the Friday I had, I love this. Thank you. Thank you. You are to cute.
I am so happy you popped by. I love it when you do. I am trying to get up and moving again. This darn illness has really drug me down. 3 months is a long time. I went back to the dr. on Friday. I am still very hoarse, they are keeping me on NO talking for the next 2 weeks at work, and talk as little as possible at home. It isn't fun at all. I am still going to have to keep taking the steroids, my lungs are still very wheezy. It has been a long road. The saddest thing was when the dr. sat me down to tell me, I may not be getting my voice back. The coughing, extreme coughing may have caused permanent damage and what I have now, may be all that I will have. I sat and cried. Today I am feeling a little better. Trying to find HOPE again.
Have a gorgeous week sweet friend. I so love to come and visit.
Country hugs and so much love, Sherry
