~Table Love~

Good Morning girls, I Know I have been MIA for awhile ha ha!! But I did promise you I would show you what I got at the Second Sunday Swap meet....It's a French coffee table from ca. 1930 For those that come by my blog all the time know I just LOVE wood craved furniture...I think that's why I love Antique pieces the workmanship and pride that went into creating was so great many years ago...Just look at her sexy legs....

You will notice no two leaves are alike as it's all hand craved....this makes my old heart sing when I find pieces like these...

Look at the mirror on top...lots of fading, Love that!!

I love it sitting next to my French leather sofa...

Now this is the reason I have been MIA...I have been taking care of my Granddaugther Candace...She's now 30 weeks and 1 day and were hoping she can hold out for 6 more weeks until Landen James is born...Right now she is on moderate bed rest and can only stand for no more than 15 minutes so being the GREAT granny that I am I have been pulling double duty taking care of her house, laundry, food shopping, Doctors appointments, etc.
I have missed all of you here in bloggerville...But Family does come first...I'm so looking forward to having Landen James born healthy...God has just Blessed my family so much...Thanks for understanding why I have not been by...Love you guys..
Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and Smiles Gl♥ria

The table is stunning, Gloria. I'm glad you pointed out all of the original and unique features to me because I'm not good at that sort of thing. I do know that a faded mirror is a sign of age. Pretty, pretty!

I am saying many prayers for Candace and her precious baby. Soon she will be in the safety zone. You are such a great grandma, I can only hope to be as sweet as you when it is my turn!

Mant thoughts going out to you on your side of the mountain. Take care, my friend!

xoxo

Oh What a sweet grammy you are! I think your granddaughter is so blessed to have you!
I love the baby's name too!

How lucky Candace is to have you Gloria! She's made it to 30 weeks! Yay! My doc told me that having a baby at 31 weeks is just as good as having it at 40. At that was a high risk doc! So great news!

Kim

It is amazing the hand done work that use to go into most furniture, but not much anymore. Now a lot of it is press board and veneers. The real wood pieces cost a fortune these days. So sweet of you to take care of your granddaughter. I hope she lasts six more weeks.

Oh Gloria,
You are such a good grandma! You just got over being ill yourself and here you are taking care of your granddaughter. Katie is 29 weeks pregnant today, so they are very close. Actually, Katie was born at 34 weeks and weighed 5lbs and 4 oz. I hope that she can make it at least until then. Oh, and your new table does have very sleek and sexy legs! Just gorgeous!
Hugs,
Cindy

Well they are well worth the time away Gloria! But bed rest is the pits - been there - done that. Thought I was gonna go crazy! But when you want that baby - that's just what you have to do. Nobody promised parenting was easy! :)
Miss you but know all is well. You take care of yourself too my friend!

I'm sure Candace doesn't have a moment of worry or boredom with you there to wait hand and foot on her and tell her all your great stories!
