~What do Roo's and Tea have in common~

Absolutely nothing...unless you doing Marty's Table top Tuesday and Lady Katherine Tea time Tuesday.....Thanks girls for hostessing this fun day for us.... Girl I have never owned a Rooster before...wait a minute I have but everyone I get my daughter Dawna steals and takes home ha ha!!!

I found this Topiary Roo at Michael's...put it in a pot added some ivy, ribbon and flowers to it...

Put it into one of my yellow ware bowls ca. 1920 added some Spanish moss around it to cover up the clay pot....

Does he not look proud....I know he'll be "Happy To Be" here until my Dawna comes this weekend and takes him to live at her house.....

Sat out my Spode blue/yellow plate next to it

Put some silver spoons into a blue sunde glass and of course had to cover it with my all time favorite cloche

I love this table runner I got from the Hospice thrift store as it reversible

Added some Toile pillows to the chairs so you could be comfortable to have your tea...

I sat this tea up on one of my Tin lacy chargers, Tea pot is from my Dear adopted daughter Glenda from Tootsie Time she send it to me for my Birthday 2 years ago...is it not pretty

I hope you enjoyed your Tea and Roo's ha ha!! Please grab a cookies on your way out...

May all of you have a GREAT day on your side of the mountain...Thanks for coming by...

Until next time from my mountain top to yours,

Hugs and smiles Glria

Hi Sis...

Just read your sweet note and came right over! Darlin', I'm so sorry to hear that you've been under the weather again...or should I say...still! What ever are we going to do with ourselves? I finally got the styes in my eye cleared up and rid of the ear ache! So I'm feeling better...although, I'm coming down off of my steroid "high"! Hehe! I always hate that part! You know, when I'm taking steroids...I feel normal again! NO pain and lots of energy! I have been taking advantage of it too...getting a few things done around here! But now I'm starting to crash...not getting anything done today! Well enough belly achin'! Hehe! You know that I'm always praying for you, Sis!!!

Well Darlin', I love, love, LOVE your new rooster topiary! He's simply adorable! Yep...you better enjoy him for the few days that you have left with him! Hehe! Glad to hear that Dawna is coming for the weekend...have fun, Sweetie!!! Anyway, I do love your rooster topiary...you did great building him!!! Ohhh...and your new blue and yellow Spode plate looks so perfect in that vignette! Everything looks sooo Springy!!! Girl, your tea is gorgeous! Ahhh...I love your pretty blue and white teapot! How sweet of Glenda to gift you with that! Your little teacup and saucer are sooo pretty too! Ohh...and I love that little round linen napkin with the delicate embroidery! It's all just gorgeous! Uh..hum...I think I will have one of those cookies...in fact, just go and get the bag, honey! Hehe! You know I love you, Darlin'!!! Thank you for sharing your new pretties with us...and I loved your tea setting!!!

Love ya,
Chari

I did not even know that I love Roo's until one day I was shopping and fell in love with my little Roo. He holds all my wooden spoons. If I had lots of room I would be having a flock of these guys around. Yours is just beautiful.

Hi Gloria,

I thank you for your kindness. And I will be taking a couple of cookies on my way out the door. Starting a diet tomorrow. lol

You'll have to start chaining down your roosters so that your daughter doesn't take them! lol I love what you did with that rooster, it's gorgeous. You have such a flair for decorating and I need you over here to rearrange my house!!! hehe Would absolutely love to sit down with you and have a cup of tea at that beautifully decorated table. xoxo

This is the cutest rooster in the world! The other day, two huge live roosters left the barn and took up with the goats, pecking their way along the fence row. Each roo would make three Yorkies.
I love your blue and white china, and the cloche with spoons is such a cute idea.

Gorgeous! I love toile and you have blended all the different ones so beautifully! The tea was delicious and the cookies were yummy:). Thank for having me over for tea:).

Blessings,

Kim

BTW, I have to respond to something you said in a comment on my blog about your hubby being slow to finish projects. When you have the time read the bathtub diaries (my other blog). Hubby told me the project would take a few weeks which turned into 10 months! My hubby is wonderful but slow as molasses in January! I can relate to your remodelling woes!

Mornin' Sis...

Just coming by to say hello and see what you're up to today! Girl, it's cold and rainy at my place. The rain is supposed to turn to snow sometime today...yuk! I really am ready for a change in weather...a change in seasons! It will be nice to enjoy the nice weather in Vegas...won't it? Hoping that we have good weather while we're there! Hey, did you catch Pawn Stars last night? Russ and I were talking again about how much fun it would be to go and visit their shop! Hehe! Wonder if the contakerous old man will be there? Hehe! I just get the biggest kick out of him!

Well Sis...hope that you're feeling better today! You know that I worry about you! Sending all my love and lots of prayer, Dearheart!!!

Love ya,
Chari
PS...I don't think I told you in my last note how much I love your pretty blue toile/plaid table runner and oooh, that pretty matching pillow! Love them!!!
