~Tea cup of Love~

Hello girls, Yesterday when Len brought the mail in he gave me an letter from Cindy at " AppleStone Cottage" in it was a little plastic bag with 3 quilt pins and 2 buttons and no note....My first thought was how did she know I collected Buttons...I have never once mentioned it on my blog...of course I collector everything so I just thought how sweet can this girl be....BUT Hold everything lol!! Today Len brings me a box from Cindy....
OMG when I opened this and seen this sweet Tea cup pin cushion that Cindy made for me...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, How pretty is this and it matches my kitchen...See those buttons and pins when I seen this tea cup the whole button thing made sense to me...

Here the sweet saucer and the most cherished note she wrote to me...that I won't share as I just cried when I read it.....

But what Cindy didn't know was that I also collector this china pattern...here the salad plate...

The dinner plate....

Oh and the Button's I had put them in one of the fronts of my Bin counter with all my other buttons and then had to fish them out when Len brought it this wonderful gift today ha ha!!

The Pins I had put in this one....Well I always said I was a few cans short of a six pack....Thank you again Cindy...This really could not have come at a better time in my life girl...I will cherish this and your friendship always my Dear friend...One of my children asked me why I blog and this is the reason why...to have people you will probably never meet in your life time that will take the time to reach out to you, not with just the gifts but with the love and caring that we all try and show each other...it's like a networking of women of all age's that have a strong love of God, their homes and family, it's like a large prayer group we can go to when we are in need of comfort, It's like having the BIGGEST coffee clutch each and every day and not having to take off my Old Red Robe and being accepted just for who I am....Have I told you guys I love ya all....All of you have really complete me !!!
Until next time from my Mountain to yours,
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

I am so glad you like it Dear Gloria!
I wondered later if the envelope would get there first and I thought you might think I am crazy!
I knew you liked blue and white, but I didn't know you collected buttons!
Big Hugs,
Cindy

What a lovely surprise gift. With my recent hospital stay I have found out how my friends in blog land mean to me they have been so good at praying for me and I continue to ask for pray. Have a blessed day. Madeline

You just listed the reasons I blog. I've found too that bloggers pick up on the teeniest things you write and remember them to bless your life with later. I too have received surprise gifts and they have not only brightened my day but lifted my heart up in rejoicing too. Sometimes I feel so alone in the real world but not in the blogging world. You know what I mean? I hope the sun is shining on your side of the mountain today! Cindy

Gloria, isn't that the sweetest and most wonderful pin cushion in the whole world. Cindy is just such a doll. I've had the thrill of meeting her twice and she is every bit as precious in person as she is on her blog. Such a lovely and loving gift. I know you will cherish it always. Hugs, Marty

Mornin' Sis...

Just starting my day...have my coffee in hand and my blogs! Hehe! Just wanted to come by your place this morning...for a little coffee! Girl, you're too funny...I guess "great minds think alike" about packing extra coffee for our trip! Hehe! It looks like between you and me...that we'll have plenty of coffee! Yes, we need to get together on the phone and work out the details! The time is getting closer!!! I'm soooo glad to hear that Len is getting excited about the trip too! Russ is putting his camaro in a car show at our local community college tomorrow night for the weekend! It looks like we'll be busy with that and we also have the kids coming. We are going to take them back home on Saturday...instead of Sunday...so I can do some shopping up at the big city! Last minute things for the trip...like new tennis shoes! Hehe! I was looking at mine the other day and decided I better get a new pair...I've only had this pair for 5 yrs.! Hehe! Anyway...it's a busy, busy time!

Well Darlin'...I just adore your beautiful gift from Cindy!!! I think she "pinned" you right...with that beautiful blue teacup pin cushion!!! It's just sooo pretty! And...how cool is that...that you collect the same dishes!!! That girl is just the sweetest...I love her to pieces!!! She also sent me one...I am going to do a post on it as well! It sure would have been fun if her and Dan could have come out to Vegas too! Ohhh my...we could use an extra hand to paint the town red! Hehe! I just laughed when I read about you getting the note with the pretty buttons and pins...first! That is sooo funny! Hope you were able to fish them out of your huge stash! Hehe!

Well talkin' about pins and needles...I'm sitting on them today! Waiting to hear how my oldest grandson's Air Force physical turned out! It's today! I'm sooo proud of that young man!!! Say a prayer for him, Sis! He was pretty nervous! He placed high enough on their test that he can go into anything he wants! He wants to go into aircraft mechanics and or/aircraft electrical. He'll do well!!! Well Sis...better close this book! I'll talk with you later!

Love ya, honey...and see you soon!
Chari

What a pretty pin cushion. Cindy did a great job on it.
Thanks for stopping by. I really don't have a lot of money in the general store. The wine box was free, and a large portion of the minis I have were bought for pennies on the dollar when a wholesale place went out of business years ago. I started accumulating them in the late 70's, and bought my first dollhouse (kit) in the 80's, but never did much with them until mid 90's. Talk about procrastinating. :-D
