~~SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR 2~~~

Susan at Between Naps on the Porch have the most beautiful Tablescapes that she shows every Tuesday..Please check out the Hostess with the Mostess at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ She will have a list of others great tables for all of you that loves eye candy... Thanks Susan for starting this Great Tuesday... Now girls I am not a fancy girl...I like to set a pretty holiday table...but really I have a DH that lives and eats in front of the TV...But if I were lucky to have a Bunch this is what I would use..

I love Blue and White dishes...the Salad plates in cobalt blue I got from the Dollar Tree also the wine glasses...The coffee mugs were Home Goods $2.95 flatware Wal-Mart $9.99 the Yellow chargers I got from Country Living the shop where I use to work $5.95 each.

The table cloth is an antique one its called Delft and it has 6 napkins with it which I didn't use and I got it at Second Sunday swap meet for $7.50 and it all linen..tell me I wasn't doing my Happy dance??

Now these plates I just got last month at Second Sunday...they are Royal Stafford shire Tonguin pattern I got four of these..now the gal wanted $10.00 but of course I talked her now to $5.00 and she even gave me the little bowl you see that the rolls are in..I think it was to just get rid of me lol!!

I love to fold my napkins this way as you can stand them up and put the flatware in them or just lay them on the plates...

Now I love this planter...some woman I just met at antique shop gave it to me as I told her I loved Blue and white...how sweet was that? and the price sure was right..The candle sticks are from a shop in Sutter Creek,Ca called Fine Eye they make the most beautiful china pieces there all hand made...I also have a set of dishes to match them..but that another Tuesday Table.. The pitcher is Roma from Italy also have the whole set of dishes in this pattern...Its the little blue bird darling!! now Len brought this home this last spring to me...was that not sweet??

Now you can see the bowl the ladies tossed in with the dishes...Oh and girls the fake rolls are also from Dollar Tree WHAT !!! you thought I baked... HELLO!!! now if I could get Len to eat fake Dinner...how great would that be??

This is just the cutest Lemon Candle and I put it in a nut dish...Candle also Dollar Tree..hey what can I say my oldest daughter is manager there and its the only time I get to see her so I shop there every week...its kills two birds with one stone, and No she doesn't give me a discount ha ha!!

Now be sure and check out all the tablescapes today...Now I won't be home today have to go to Reno,NV and take my baby daughter Dawna out to lunch for her very own BD...ps I am whispering now so she don't hear me...she will be 44..

Have a great day...Hugs and smiles Gloria

Morning, sweet Gloria. What a beautiful table. I know what you mean about the hubbies eating in front of the TV. I just can't seem to break Mr. Precious from that habit!!
Now your plates are so gorgeous and how you've mixed and matched is truly stunning. I love everything - your centerpiece with the lemons matching your yellow chargers and those cute little lemon candles!! Oh, I'm in heaven!
So lovely.

That's a beautiful table, I think it says drama, I don't know why I think that, other than it looks so bold and rich. And so impressed you bought everything at different times in different stores, then put it together like that. You're good, girl.

Chris

I am just loving this tablescape. Blues mixed with yellows are just my favorite and you have done such a beautiful job with it. I cannot believe you got those 4 plates for $5! What a deal. They are beautiful. Love the way the yellow lemons pick up on the yellow plates. It's just beautiful! laurie

The base of the candle holders is most unusual and very attractive. I know that lemons are used to brighten the taste of food and the lemons on your table certainly brighten your tablescape. Even your flatware handles carry through the blue of the dishes.

Hey girl! Just wanted to stop by and say hi, really enjoyed your table settings and the fall arrangment with the cloche. Between you and Lynne with those cloches I have come a way with some new ideas. Thanks bunches. Have a great day! Sasha

Good morning Happy! I LOVE your creative new tablescape. Is there any place more fun to shop than Dollar Tree???? I can always find something so different and at a dollar, you can't beat the price. I have the pirogue on my table full of their fall ceramic pumpkins, and now I have bought all their Santa head ornaments to use instead of bows on my primitive looking Christmas paper. I also like the large Christmas light ornaments and the wine bottle "socks", I am using them to hold gift cards and candy with the light bulbs as the gift tag. "Talk" soon, hope your day is as special as you are!

Gloria~ This is truly beautiful and such wonderful bargains. I must find a Dollar Tree I know I've seen one somewhere...lol. :) The bluebird from Len is a wonderful addition. ( I just love birds ) I sure wish I knew how to set a pretty table. I can never seem to get it just right. Please teach us how to fold those napkins, I love it. Hope you had a fun day with your daughter.

Hugs~ J.

Hi Gloria! Well, you're going to just have to punch that hubby in the stomach and get him moving! lol
I was blessed with this wainscoting so hanging the pictures wasn't hard - just measured from it the same distance up the wall on all of them and it worked!!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
