Hello my Dear friends, Boy have I missed you all....THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! for all your prayers for Len...I am just blowed away by all the kindness I find here with my Blog family...you guys are the best....Len had his Angiogram done and they did have to put in one stint...He says he feels like a new man...I can not Thank God enough for giving me back my husband...
While Len was in the hospital I had to go Retail Therapy shopping don't you hate when that happens ha ha!! I just wanted to share with you my new ruffle pillow I found in Reno at their Home Goods store...I also hit a few other stores and got me some new flats, sheets, Capri pants, tops, jewelry,drapes, stuff for Candace's baby shower, hey I was really stressed lol!! and needed my therapy ha ha!!
I love how it looks on my bed with my 1940 Art Deco bedspread and shams don't you....It's like it was meant to be...
I found this bedspread last year at the Second Sunday swap meet...I just love all the flocking and Chantilly lace on in...that plus the fact that it is over 60 years ago and in wonderful shape...
This is my headboard that is over 9 foot tall...it's from ca.1880 and walnut and burl wood lots of cravings on it...also lot's of dusting ha ha!! And Yes it's only a double size bed...but hey I love to snuggle with Len so it's just great for us ha ha!!
I hope all of you have a GREAT weekend...I know mine is going to be wonderful...God is so good to me....Thank you all again...I really don't know what I would do without you great gals in my life...You Complete me!!

Oh, such good news...I'm happy for you both. I hope you are also feeling better. I'm going to look for a pillow like that one at the HomeGoods where my dad lives. I have a feeling I'm going to be a bit stressed and need some retail therapy too. I don't have a frilly thing in my house, but I love that pillow!

The bed is unbelievably gorgeous. The headboard is so ornate and lovely and the bedding... Gloria, it looks like it must be unbelievably silky soft. The pillow is an excellent addition.

It was funny when I read the words "chantilly Lace" because that is a song I have been singing to my 2 year old and she knows all the words by heart. Poor kid, all the other kids know all the latest songs and she knows The Big Bopper!
Good news about Len only needing the stent. J does fine with his and yes, he too felt great after having the procedure.
