~GRANDMA"S CLUB~

Good Morning Guys, Well it's official now...All 3 of my Daughters are Grandma's now...Jordan James was born Saturday at 7:28 am 8 Lbs 3 Ozs...This gave a whole new meaning to the word "Labor Day weekend"... Barbra age 49 (new grandma) Gina age 47, and Dawna age 44 have all became Grandma this year...WOW!! how funny it feels to look at your children and see them all as Grandma's now...After surviving cancer twice in 30 years and not knowing if I would live long enough to even see my daughters raised and to now see them with grand babies of their own...what can I say but how Blessed I'm truly am...To see each one of them so happy and to have all 3 of my babies together once again...These times are so special for me my heart just fills with so much pride, and I spend alot of time when there together just looking at them, to see each one and how they grew up to be strong and caring women...
Crazy Barbra, Thinking she's the Queen Grandma now...

Silly Gina...who always makes me laugh...

Goofy Dawna, trying to lay down on her daughter Candace...

Len doing what Len does best...Oh guys I had a wonderful time with my girls..I just loved seeing them for 2 days...but will tell you as each one leaves I stand in the driveway with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes but thank God that he allowed me this priceless time with my children...All the wealth in the world could never buy the wonderful memories I have with this bunch that I love with all my heart and soul...This has got to be the best job I have ever had...Being a Mother.
I hope all of you made Great memories with your love ones this weekend..
Hugs and Smiles Glria

Gosh, I am so happy for you to be so young and having grandchildren from your girls. I use to think it was so silly to see that bumper sticker about "if I had known it would be so much fun having grandchildren, I would have had them first" but after having identical twin boys and one girl all in one year and then to have one more girl a few years later - it doesn't get any better than that. Congratulations -

Gloria, I do know that lump in the throat feeling. When ever I leave my girls home or they leave ours I usually cry until they or I am out of site. I love being a mother but there is something special about being a grandmother. One of lifes treasures.

Hi Gloria,
What a lovely post. You are truly blessed! I'm still waiting to be a grammy someday, and it doesn't look like it will be any time soon. So glad you had such a nice time with your girls! Hugs, Loretta

I saw both my kids these last two days, each separately, but I get the same lump in my throat. I remember so much of my time raising them...my son fell asleep on our recliner for a few hours...I was just thrilled he was there! Didn't matter that he was sleeping!!
So glad you got to spend time with them....they are beautiful and look like fun too!
