Today I shopped my house to come up with my fall table...Don't you just love that when you can just shop your home...

Little Pumpkins I got last year from Dollar Tree...I think everyone in blogland must have these by now...I put one on each plate...

Plate 1. To me nothing says Fall like a Big ole Sunflower...these plates I got from Amador City from a shop going out of business....

Plate 2. Cabbage plates I just love and have used these many times for TT
Plate 3. Florentine Crown Ducal China that I got from Second Sunday a few months back...I have really had a great time using this china with so many differ colors...

Plate 4. Yellow dinner plates I got from " Country Living" in Amador City also last year...I love to use these with my Blue Willow....

Napkins also from "Country Living" Don't the colors just say Fall to you...

Same old Gold flat ware I got for $10.00 from Hospice thrift store services for 8 not bad with the cutlery box...

S/P came with the flat ware...I put a set at each plate and a carnival glass serving dish

Center piece is just a Berry wreath with a ceramic Pumpkin in the center added a couple of Black crows

Sat my Ross Gourd next to it...I just love the cut outs in this gourd don't you...This I also got from Ross Last month...Last week you seen it under a cloche's at Marty's cloche's party...was that not a fun day...Can't hardly wait to see what everyone comes up with at Christmas time...

I used my Yellow " Vaseline " glasses again if you want to know the story about Vaseline glass please click here...
I'm sure Bill already knows the story behind this glass right Bill??

My Wedding crystal stem ware from many moons ago ha ha!! it's been around longer than some of you ha ha!! After all these years I still have it and my wedding veil still fits...

Pale yellow pitcher I also got from Hospice about 4 months ago...

Candle Holders were my Mama's and the candles are left over from last Thanksgiving...see I really did shop my house...

I have a set of these but used 2 different ones together for today..

My Artsy shot .....

A Black Bird's eye view...

Hi Gloria,
That was kind of you to mention me! I know just a very little about a whole lotta things! I'm sure you know a lot more about vaseline glass than I do.

I enjoyed seeing your tablescape -- so many nice warm colors and pretty things! Your posts always make me smile ... sometimes I laugh out loud ... and often you make me cry a bit (like when you talk about your Mama). It feels like I've been to a good movie whenever I stop by.

Take good care, sweet Lady!

I do not have the first one, and those cabbage plates just go for every season and dinner, not first one here either. lol I love the gourd, the pumpkins, the wedding stemware. The candle sticks! Just a wonderful fall setting and all from shopping your home! I enjoyed it much. Hope all the Grandchildren are doing well! I think of you often, I have't been on computer much, just trying to get some things done in the remodel of my home, before I go to surgery in October, Wow, I was suppose to have had surgery today. The nurse did not leave all day for me so they canceled, Yeah I still free! lol

Yes, I've been bitten. :) I just love fall....and all the warm colors. I had such fun doing my table. I love your tablescape...and no, I don't have any of those adorable little pumpkins....sigh. I also can't really shop the house because I only have one set of everyday dishes is that a sin...I think iy might be. ( Although I do have some china somewhere :)

To do list:

1. get more dishes
2. go to dollar tree
3. repeat steps 1 & 2 ( alot )

I'm up too late, I'm delirious.

Big hugs~ J

Hi Gloria!

I love Fall and your tablescape is gorgeous!!!

I got the link for the blue chargers. They are actually 14 inch platters. I bought them from Carol's site Raised in Cotton.

The link with the plates:

I hope this link works for you. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll try something else. Carol also has a very pretty blog! She just bought an old Missouri farmhouse. Beautiful!! I think you can get there from her shop link. Beautiful photos!

Who needs the mall when they can find such great things in their own house. LOL I just love how you put it all together, Gloria. I also love your nice big photos. Just what these over 50 eyes need.

Thanks so much for your visit today. In answer to your question I got my lighted garland through QVC. It is made by a company called Bethlehem Lights. I just ordered it a few weeks ago so if you want one I don't think you should have a problem finding it at QVC.com.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Gloria, your table setting is just gorgeous! I like all of the textures, colors and those crows! Your table looks like the kind of place that you could just sit at for hours and share stories and good food.

I smile when I see the photo of your mother on your sidebar. Do you know that my son passed away 10 days before your mother? They are our angels now.

That is such a beautiful table!
I especially love the centerpiece and the Vaseline glasses (thanks for the info).
Shopping the house...that's what I teach in my classes. We all have beautiful items in our cabinets, on our shelves, etc. We just need to be creative and use them in different ways.
Have a grand week,
Jane (artfully graced)
