~Screen it in~

Hello guys, Well I think me screen finally found a home...If you read my post last week I was moving this screen all over my house..Then the light bulb in my old head went off..Why not try it in your bedroom My bedroom is really big it's 1083 square feet and I have a sitting room in it where I watch TV all the time as I can't stand watching news like Lenny does 24/7..

Love me some olden hat boxes I recovered about 15 years with wall paper..On them I have a pair of my antique shoes..did I tell you I'm crazy about old shoes.

My Grandma's wedding dress from 1913 also added a pair of angel wings to them

Now this is what's on the other side of the screen..It's my faux fireplace heater

On it sits my TV

My antique sofa that I lay on and watch TV every day..this sofa got a real work out while I was recovery from triple by pass..

Small marble top table that has some of my German pin cushion dolls..I just started this collection last Nov 2011 off eBay when I could not get out and shop..Hey it was heart surgery I didn't die and I still have to shop ha ha!!

This 1920's flapper one is just too cute..it's the only one I have with legs.

My Tiffany light that hangs above my sofa..

Warm and cozy night time shot..

So there you have my new found home for my French screen..
I'm joining the sweet Courtney at "French Country Cottage" I just got to meet up with Courtney last Sunday at the second Sunday swap meet..Oh I'm the old one with the wrinkles and red hair ha ha!!for feather your nest Friday and Cindy at  My Romantic Home and Pamela from my front porch to yours
Thanks ladies for hosting and thank all of you for stopping by and seeing my mountain top home..
Until next time from my mountain to yours
Hugs and smiles Gloria

Perfect place for your screen! Glad to see you are feeling good enough to be out and about again - no more laying on the couch. Well, at our age, I guess we still need some occasional couch time. Take care, Sally

I just knew that screen would be perfect with all of your pretty antiques and it is! I think you found the perfect spot. As for your dolls...very unique. I think you gave new meaning to "shop until you drop"!

Hi darling, you look fantastic!!! I hope that big smile on your face says you're feeling good! What fun to meet another fellow blogger!
Your screen is incredible.. I've recently become "obsessed" with them, don't have room or the money for it but sure enjoy looking.. lol
Things around here are about the same.. Mr. P has had 2 small strokes, not lasting effects. My Bailey comes as often as the schedule permits. He'll be here this w/k yippy skippy!! You know from your granddaughters schedule what time of the year it is. I'm meeting myself coming and going with clients picking any and all new ones I can..I should finish the last of the painting around here I hope for a "very" long time.. sweetie, I miss our early morning coffee get togethers.... love ya darling. hugs ~lynne~

Mornin' Sis...

Just coming by to see how you're doing this morning! I have my cup of coffee in hand and I think I'd really enjoy taking it in that cozy sitting area of your beautiful boudoir!!! Girl, I love, love, LOVE your screen and I totally agree...I think it's perfect in your sitting area. It really does help bring that warm and cozy ambiance to the sitting area! Love, love, LOVE IT!!! Oooh...I sooo enjoy getting to see your gorgeous bedroom sitting area...it's sooo dreamy...like living in a castle! Seriously!!! I know that you really enjoy relaxing there too! Hopefully one of these days...I'll get to see it in person.

Sis, I love your newest collection...German pin cushion dolls! They're fabulous!!! I like the "Roaring 20's" lady too...oooh, just look at those purty legs! Hehe! Thanks for sharing your new pretties with us!!!

Well Darlin', I hope that my note is finding you and Lenny both doing well. We're kind of in the middle of a blizzard right now...I'm keeping a close eye on it because I don't want Russell to get stuck in town. I haven't been up to much. I'm still really down with this cold that has turned into bronchitis. I know I need to get to the Dr. but the weather is so crappy...I think I'll stay put. Say a prayer for me, dear friend!

Love you sooo much!
