~Fall Blessings~

I hope everyone has a GREAT week !!! I really have been M.I.A from blog land  this past month...
For the past month I have really let my poor ole house just go...What with taking care of my grand daughter and now that Landen James is finally born I have a ton to try and play catch up on  lol!! Don't you just hate it when all you can do is give your house a lick and a promise ??? I know I sure do....
You can write your name on anything in my house right now the dust just took over ha ha!! Not that Len would notice...we could have a dead cow in the middle of the Living room and he would not notice it unless it was in front of his Sunday football game on TV ha ha!!
Fall is by far my favorite time of the year...I love to look out at my mountain top and see all the trees changing colors. I love to sit in my sun room in the early morning with my coffee and just look at all the beauty God gave me to enjoy each day and to smell the crisp air...
I'm just starting to bring fall into my home...Oh the Blessings of Fall
My Sweetest Fall Blessing this year is my Great Grandson Landen James....I just told him how cute he was and he struck his tongue out at me ha ha!!
On Sept 22 nd I also had another Great Grandson born at Fort Hood Texas Issac 8lbs 7ozs...He's my Grandson Jacob's little guy...Jacob is the one in the Army and will be deployed in December to Afghanistan, Jacob already has one little guy 15 months old Jeremiah...I don't envy his wife having to change two sets of diapers ha ha!! Any way that brings my total of Great Grand kids up to 8 now WOW!! Just toss them my checkbook come Christmas....If I'm not in blog land at that time just look for me in the "Poor House"
I hope to be back to full time blogging once I get caught up on my home duties...
I also have a Blogaversary coming up in 3 weeks and I have something really special planned for my followers as a give away to just say a "BIG" Thanks for putting up with me for 2 years...At least I think it's special...hey!!  I'm no Oprah here so don't go thinking I'm sending you to Australia with John Travolta as your pilot ha ha!!
Thanks for coming by my Dear friends...
Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Wow, 8 great grands! I didn't realize that Jacob and his wife were expecting again. She is really going to have her hands full! Little Landen is adorable, and look how smart he is - already blowing raspberries LOL. I do have a bone to pick with you - NO JOHN TRAVOLTA?? What a gyp! Just kidding, but boy wouldn't that be a hoot? Hope you have a wonderful week. Hugs, Kat

What a precious picture of your new great grandson! He is so cute. Congrats to all your family on his arrival. Your other one arrived on our anniversary! The 22nd was our 31st wedding anniversary. Can't believe it has been that long. I have lots of dust around here too. But it was toooooo hot to do much today. Are you also getting this horrible heat too? I can't wait for it to cool down. But I think the heat is going to hang around for a few more days.

Congrats on being a great grandma again! I think that dust adds to the Halloween-ish feel, don't you? ;O) My husband doesn't notice either, or if he did, he wouldn't say/do anything a/b it. Your fall decor looks great. Hope you're enjoying cooler weather on your side of the mountain!

What a blessed grandmother you are!! No great grands here - my oldest grandchild is only 13. That's what happens when you get a late start having kids. Your house looks pretty-well put together to me with all of your Fall gloriousness. Sally

Hi Gloria, your grandson is so adorable.....just a sweet little bundle.

Try and take it easy with the cleaning. I hate doing a hit or miss on my house also, but sometimes,it is necessary.

I'm struggling with keeping up in Blogland too, Gloria, and have decided to do my best and just get off my own back. We are only human with so many hours in the day.

Sending you blessings,
Barb

What a little cutie pie that little guy is!! My you have your home all prettily falled up I was half expecting to see little James in a pumpkin!! Doesn't look like you leave any space with out being prettied up with fall colors!

I still haven't had time to get fall out yet though it is coming on outside just fine!! We are still trying to get the food/clothing pantry up- have food box distribution this Friday. That along with canning all of God's bounty in the garden and such has kept me busy!

Hi Gloria!

I have been so busy that I have been very neglectful lately on my blog visiting. So let me say...YIPPEE AND CONGRATS on the new grandbabies!!! I am so happy for all of you!

As far as all the dust in the house, don't feel bad. I think all of my dust is forming their own union and are going to want to have a meeting with me regarding better living conditions! LOL

Your fall decor looks beautiful. And I can only imagine what stunning vies you have from your home at this time of the year!

have a fantastic day!

Two new "greats" at the same time! How wonderful...babies are such blessings, I love seeing the pictures are you post them. This time of year in my flat part of the country...all I have to do is open the patio door and dust is everywhere. I dust in the morning and with my dark wood tables, you can write your name by afternoon!

I am still trying to get into the fall spirit. I haven't done my autumn decorating yet.

So cute to see an updated pic of the new baby, and congrats on yet another addition to your list of great-grandbabies!

I sure do understand about needing to take time to take care of the home and other things. I have had to do that too, but am being much more active in blogging lately and starting to catch up on blog visits.

Take care!

Hi Gloria Sweetie...
Congrats to you and your family. What a sweet little bundle of love. Now does that say "kissable" or what? Oh I love that baby smell. Like you said with the grands we might as well just throw them the check book they seem to get it all anyway.

Your Fall decorations are SO beautiful. I love the wreath on your front door. It is spectacular and sure does welcome each and all in. I love it.

I also love the pumpkin in your cloche, along side your fall plate that looks so pretty.

Shucks, no Johnny? Well I know you so it will be exciting. I can't wait sweetie.

So happy to hear from you again. I love visiting. Many hugs and SO much love to you sweetie, Sherry

Hi Sis...

Hey...you snuck a post in on me! wink! Girlfriend, I can only imagine how fabulous autumn is up on your mountain! Ohhh...how I would love to sit and have morning coffee with you out that gorgeous sunporch of yours! I'd probably have a sore neck from looking at all the autumn leaves through your glass ceiling out there! Hehe! It would be worth it though...just pass the BenGay! Hehe!

Well I just love all of your pretty autumn decor, Sis! What a beautiful wreath...those autumn colors sure look pretty against that oak! Love how you did your fireplace mantel too! Ohhh...that brown velvet runner is gorgeous...and I love that pretty plate! You know, I was checking out that gorgeous green vase or bowl that is on the back part of your mantel? I don't think I've ever seen that before...it's beautiful!!! Love all of your autumn pretties, Sis! Thanks for sharing them with us!

Ahhh...another little great-grandson! I love the name Issac! Hmmm...I'm thinking that you have alot more boys than girls in your family...don't you? I have 8 boys and just 2 girls. Well Darlin', Russ is home...I'll talk with you later! Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for your birthday celebration!!!

Love ya,

Hey sweet lady,
So wonderful to know that everyone is ok. Little Landen is totally adorable! Congrats on the "Texan" too ~ :-) Wow, that girl is going to have her hands more than full but perhaps that's God's way of keeping her busy while hubby is deployed. I wish them the best!

Your fall decor is beautiful ~ my favorite time of the year. I just started mine and have been hit with vertigo. No fun! :-( I see the allergist in the morning so hoping he will have a magic cure.

Congrats on your new blessings! I know you must be on cloud nine right now. Don't feel bad, I have several inches of dust at my house as well, and I have no excuse! I also have fallen behind in my fall decorating, looks like you may have more accomplished than I do. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
