A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid.
Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from her, and speak in a normal conversational speaking tone to see if she hears you.
If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."
That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."
Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?"
No response.. So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Still no response..
Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, "Honey, what's for dinner?
Again no response.
So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away.. "Honey, what's for dinner?"
Again there is no response.
So he walks right up behind her... "Honey, what's for dinner?"
(I just love this)
"Lenny, for THE FIFTH time, it's CHICKEN!"
Hope all of you are having a GREAT day...
Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Didn't see that one coming...love it! Kinda reminds me of an old joke with a punchline of "He said he thought he knew you from Dallas!".

Why do men have to ask, " whats for dinner?".. They are gonna eat whatever it is, so why ask lol..
Hi Gloria! How funny! And how typical! lol If there's a problem, it must be the wife's fault! lol lol I love your guest room tea party...so pretty! How's little mister Landon James doing? And Candace? What's left...three more weeks or so? I know you all must be getting so excited! Have a great week!...hugs...Debbie
That's a good one! Haven't heard it before. Hubby's hearing isn't the best anymore but sometimes he hears and just plays with me. I'll say something and he'll say "huh?" I repeat it and he'll do it again. Takes about 3 tries before I realize he's messing with me!
Too funny.......sounds like my house!
That is funny!
Hope you had a great long weekend!

Just checking to make sure you got your warm red robe ready, I hear it could snow at the higher elevations tonight! In Sept.? All I know is it is downright windy and cold here right now and a few nights ago it was too hot to sleep!
Take Care!
