~We don't need no stinkin toys~

Bet you thought I got lost..no such luck lol!! I have been spending alot of time with Landen..he loves to come to my house because I don't have toys ha ha!! Oh no Gigi's got great stuff to play with...I don't need NO stinking toys at her house... I can play for hours without them.

We have vintage picnic baskets to sit in...
We have yogurt and learn to even use a spoon.

And we can make the BIGGEST mess in the world and Gigi don't care...

She just puts me in her blue sink and it all comes out in the wash

Landen will be one year old on Sept 17th
mean while Gigi is trying to clean out her hallway hutch and put all her white things in it...

So many things have been going on around here...some of you already know that I had a few mini strokes and I have been going through a ton of test (MRI, brain cat scan etc.) now to see what is causing these...I still have to have a stress test and a wear a 30 day heart monitor which I will have put on this Wednesday..WOW!! had I known I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself lol!!
All kidding aside I have been trying to spend as much time with my love ones..Be good to one another as life as you know it can change in a heart beat...
I love all of you and really have missed blogging the way I use to...But I'm so trying to make good memories for my grand babies..

Until next time from my mountain to yours,

Hugs and smiles Gloria

I wouldn't be doing much blogging either if I was spending time with an adorable little one!

Love all your white things in your cabinet and I hope you get feeling better!

Oh Gloria, Landon is such a precious little doll. I love the pic of all the pots and pans. They were always my kids favorite toys when they were little. They make such wonderful banging noises. lol

I didn't know about the strokes. I will keep you in prayer. God Bless. Hope the tests don't reveal anything, just a few glitches. Hugs, Marty

I am so sorry to hear about the strokes. I hope they were just warnings to get yourself checked out and your health back to normal. I will be sending many prayers your way, dear Gloria!

He is darling! Take care of yourself girlfriend....I need you to keep showing me your gorgeous antiques so I can whine and say..."I want one of those!"

He is so cute, and is getting so big. My kids and grands always liked to plan with pots, pans, empty boxes, etc.
Hope they can find out real soon what is causing the mini strokes and can take care of the issue. Sorry you are having to deal with this. Take care of yourself.
(((hugs)))

These pictures of Landen are priceless, especially that first one! You're making memories even when you don't think you are. :)

I'm sorry about the mini strokes. I do hope that they can find out what's causing them. My son's stroke was caused by a hole in his heart he'd had since birth and he was only 24 at the time and married three weeks to boot. Who would have ever thought.... We didn't even know about the hole or we would have had it fixed. God bless you Gloria. May the sun always rise on your mountain!

I know he must love coming to visit you! And you are right...there shouldn't be any rules at Gigi's house! I know there aren't any at mine for my little grandies, either! Keep us posted as you complete the tests! Love you!...hugs...Debbie

Hi Sis...

I just seen that you posted, Sis...and came right over! Ohhh my gosh...it that little Landen isn't the cutest little fella that I've ever seen (aside from my grandboys, of course...wink! Hehe!) Seriously though...I got the biggest hoot out your photos! That first photo of Landen with the colander on his head is priceless!!! Ohhh...and you gotta love the yogurt pics...and clean up! Hehe! You're just the bestest GiGi ever, honey! I just know that little Landen loves his GiGi!!! Thanks for sharing these precious photos with us, Sis! They just made my heart smile!!!

Well my dear, it looks like you are keeping busy! Love your hall hutch's new "all white" look! It's gorgeous, Sis! Hey, I noticed that pretty paper covering the back too! Sure was a GRAND idea that you had! I was wondering if you made that beautiful white swan tassel? Sooo pretty! Did you get your contractors out to the house to work on your room and plumbing?

Well sweet Sis, I know that all these tests that they are running you through...can't be pleasant but I'm soooo very glad that you are doing them! This is just so scary and not to be played with! Did you get any of the results back yet? If so, would love to hear from you, honey!

Sheesh...it's nearly 1am and guess I should think about getting to bed. Got to run to town tomorrow for errands...yippee! So glad that you stopped by today. Yep, those sweet little dogs were still there when I went this last time...and they were marked down. Got the pair for just $6.40! I sure thought of you as I was getting them. We did have fun shopping...didn't we!!! We need to do that again...real soon!

Love ya, Sis!

This little guy is totally adorable! I know you're having a blast with him...and that's what counts. This time last year we were all praying for him and his mom...for their health and a safe delivery. Now, look at what God has done!

My prayers are also with you my dear. I hope they find some answers soon!

Much love * healing energy sent your way ~

Dear Gloria,
Baby Landon is getting so big and he is so adorable. I always bathed my girls and my grandbaby's in the kitchen sink too! I kept a drawer in my kitchen filled with pots and pans and tupperware just for the kids to play in. They loved it, the only thing was it sure was loud..LOL
I didn't know you were having mini strokes. I will keep you in my thought and prayers.
I will be thinking of you.
Take good care of you...
Big hugs, Elizabeth
