~Bloom where your Planted~

I love spring time on my mountain...After all the snow we had this year I really was thrilled to see my Daffodil's coming up...

My old wagon after 25 years is starting to fall apart just like me..but still has alot of beauty to me..
I so remember went this was the population in my one horse town..Now we have 1650 Lenny found this old sign for me and brought it home..how sweet was that!!

My irises

I have alot of old farm things I use in my yard as I have 11 acres to try and fill
An old wine barrel can you say huge lol!!

If you walk through that Heart arbor you will get to my front door...I loved this when I found it because "Home is where the heart is"
My sun room

My driveway with the tractor wheels
This is the road that goes to my apartment in the back....Every tenant has loved living in that apartment because it's so quiet and on a private road..This is also where my Big barn is at..

Len just made this flower bed for me last year..see that old iron headboard leaning there it will go into the flower bed so I will really have a flower bed lol!!
Len is also making me a rock pond with a water fall...
This is where Len buried his old dog Rex in 09 and he keeps solar power lights on it...

I hope you enjoyed seeing my mountain top in spring time..nothing fancy like you all have but I tell you God planted me here and I have always bloomed here..I'm joining my Dearest young friend Glenda at " Tootsie Time" for Flaunt your flowers Friday...Thanks Toots..Love ya girl
Until next time from my mountain to yours,
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Oh my your mountain is just gorgeous and all those lovely daffodils *sigh*...I love all your old farm pieces and the wagon is fab...but the wine barrel, now that is something else..look like you could cut a door in it and use it for a guest house lol.
I totally adore your stone wall too, we have plans for one similar here.

Thank you for the tour

All of your blooming flowers look so beautiful! I am so jealous! We had snow yesterday here in Michigan. I don't think we will ever have Spring!

Oh Gloria no wonder you don't want to leave your mountain top! It's sooooo beautiful!! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed takling the yard tour! Girl that HUGE wine casket is the coolest dang thing!! You could make that into a garden shed...or how about guest accomodations for ME?! *winks* I'm in LOVE with that! And love the old wagon! Also so sweet of Len to find that sign for you and the planter bed AND the pond!! I don't think I'd ever want to leave.

Gloria we STILL have rain!! I could scream!! I got to spend the day with Mary Ellen on Monday and I felt so bad for her because the weather was so crappy. We still managed to hit some stores though *winks*
And today....glad you're not holding your breath on this cuz you'd be dead....I got a box large enough to send your stuff!! Yippeee yahoo....Don't blame you girl if you're completely underwhelmed...I'm sorry it's taken me nearly till the end of time to get the right stuff. I got a BIG surprise item on ebay that I'll be posting tomorrow...and I'm using that box for your pretties. I never said I wasn't a cheap recycler *winks* Vanna

Enjoyed the tour of your property. Your daffodils are so pretty and you have quite a lot of them. Love the large wine barrel and all the other farm items. I know you are going to enjoy the water pond when Len is finished with it. Have a blessed day. Madeline

Gloria I love the wagon and the sign. We have a road sign with our name on it. There is a road in St Charles County named after J's family. They came from Germany in the 19th century, settled in and started farming. Some are still farming, in real life and others, like J, are still farming in their heart.

This post is beautiful!!

Thanks for the tour of your pretty yard. I love daffodils - wished they lasted longer when they bloom.
Enjoy your day.

That is a lot of work, my friend! We have a measly .25 acre and I am always busy! Yes, 1/4 acre! It breaks this hillbilly heart to have to live in the city but I, too, will bloom where I m planted!

Your daffodils are so pretty. I'm no good with them. They hardly bloom at all. I love the old wagon and Pioneer sign. Looks like there's been some real partying around the old wine barrel. Ha! I can tell that you've worked so hard over the years. Your property is awesome. What a feast for the eyes.

Gloria looks like heaven on earth to me!! My what a bundle of daffodils you have around your place! Those have got to be near the top of the list for the cheeriest flowers!

Your place is just breathtaking and I know you enjoy it!

Had so much fun last week with Vanna and her hubby! Here she is coming up your way sometime! Wish I could hitch a ride in her luggage or harp case!

Hi Gloria, i'm new here came in via Tootsie's. That is a wide area you have there to work on, a lot of man-hours to devote to garden it. But it looks you have started on a great deal, and your old discards will have a new value when incorporated in the design of your gardens. More power!

Your corner of the world is looking gorgeous right now. Those drifts of daffodils everywhere are just beautiful. I love the way you've used old farm equipment and items as features around your garden. I so enjoyed my first visit to your blog.

you do know that YOU are the reason Fertilizer Friday/ Flaunt Your Flowers was born right? Remember when you were trying to remember to feed your plants??? Yep...Dear momma...You are the reason we all party every Friday!
Your mountain is gorgeous ...I love the natural look of everything...the blooms just are so cheerful and sunny...I'd say it's about as fancy as it can be...PERFECT!
Len...well he can come here and build me a few things anytime!!! I would love a pond with a waterfall...but it will wait till I have kids old enough to have a little self control...you know...barbies swimming...people dipping in...ya...would land my butt in a psyche ward just trying to guard the pond...(I have enough issues just trying to keep them from stealing all the water out of my fountain! haha)
I am so happy that you linked in with me this week...it doesn't happen often, but when it does...man is it ever worth it!
Your flowers brought a smile to my face and a twinge to my heart...Mom, I miss you!
Love you lots...can't wait to talk to you again soon!
love you!

Gloria, your property is glorious! I love how you have displayed on your grounds, all old antique things - the wheels, barrel, etc. You truly appreciate and respect all of these wonderful old items and you 'feature' them in a wonderful way, where others would have discarded them. Your flowers are beautiful too. We are just now getting some buds on the trees, with a few daffodils coming up. It's been slow to start here in Conn! Oh, and my favorite is your sign... Pop. was once 200 (on the sign) and now you say it's 1650? What a great sign to have!!
Best,
Gloria
