~So Blessed~

Hello Guys, I have told you before that I march to a guitar with a few strings missing...A few years ago I found an Antique Baptismal font....It's from Italy ca.1910 I added a glass table topper to it so I could use it..and it sits right beside my front door in my entry..So BLESS all those that enter my home...

And of course nothing is complete without a Bust on it..
This Baptismal font is made of stone..I love all the craving and gold leaf on it...After Len moved this heavy thing for me he said it Will stay there unless I find another fool ..Now come on Women can always find a fool!! But how many Baptismal fonts can I find ha ha!!Please feel free to Bless yourself as you leave my mountain top..
Until next time,
Hugs and smiles Gloria

Good Evening Gloria Sweetie...
Oh how beautiful and what a glorious treasure this is. I am afraid my FOOL husband would have been moving it around our house too, because like you, I wouldn't have been able to leave it. It is beautiful, and with that bust on top, it says "LOVE".

Sweetie I am blessing myself on the way out. Thank you SO much for the gorgeous share.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I was thinking of your home and all the pretties you show and am wondering if you have some posts that show a panoramic view of your rooms. Your style is so similar to mine but I am needing some inspiration on furniture placement and would love to see yours. I am sure you have shown pictures like this but My little brain just can't hold but a few posts at a time in ....

Absolutely gorgeous! Such a treasure too. Don't you wonder who was baptized and what the history of the piece is? That's one thing I always wonder about an antique piece and wish I knew...who, what, where, why?? :-)
