~Come for Tea, Stay for Coffee~

Hello Guys!! I just wanted to show you a few of my olden New Coffee grinders I got this past month...
This is a Enterprise Coffee grinder from 1873 # 2 it has been fully restored...I just love it...Found it in a local antique store in December, had it on lay away ha ha!! Oh Yes I'm the Queen of lay- away...If you find an antique you really love, talk to the shop owner they will always do a 30 day lay-away with you sometimes more if they know you...

I found this one on EBay and it started at $565.00 I got this one for only $400.00 YIPPEE!! I know this sounds like allot but it really is not for a piece that is in great shape and 138 years old...These old things are getting harder to find..I sure wished society valued older people like they do antique's..I would be worth a fortune now ha ha!!
Of course I still love my Charles Parker Coffee Grinder the best of all..Did you know that the man who made shotguns made this grinder...WOW!! Talk about a morning coffee blast ha ha!! This is a real rare coffee grinder..every antique dealer that comes into my home wants to buy this beauty from me...But I can't sell my children's inheritance ha ha!!
This is a Elma coffee grinder from Spain ca. 1930... I love the beautiful patina on the one wheel grinder...It came home with me the first of January...

This one I sat on my De Laval cream separator cabinet...Ca. 1900

I just love the tin panel on this cabinet...found this about 25 years ago..
I have this new beauty sitting atop  my antique Bin counter...I love this piece as an island in my kitchen..It's seven feet long and has 18 junk  storage drawers in it...

One end of the bin counter with a few olden crocks and feed sacks...

Thanks for coming by and seeing me on my mountain top today...

I'm joining  Courtney at " French Country Cottage" for Feather your nest Friday...Thanks sweet Courtney...
Also Joining my Dear friend Laurie at "Laurie's bargains and chatting" for favorite things Saturday Thanks sweet Laurie..

Until next time from my mountain to yours ,
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
Hey BJ, at "Sweet Nothing" this picture is just for you girl..ha ha!! see I do bake sometimes...Love ya Sister friend..

Hi Gloria,
Thanks for sharing your collection of coffee grinders; I truly love those pieces myself and especially your big one! That one is truly amazing; I can see why dealers always want to buy it! Thanks for the tip about lay-away...I never thought to ask about that!
I'm always on the look out for one of those old wheel grinders myself and you are right, they are hard to find and when I do see one, they are so much $$$$...I think you got a great deal on that one from eBay!

Gloria, sweetheart, they are all wonderful. And, well, I can't say anything to you when I paid over $100 for a doll dress! LOL AND over $400.00 for a DOLL! Gloria..we are retired. We sort of paid our dues..went without...and took it all on the chin. Our babies came first..still do..but it's fun to indulge in our old age. WHAT?!! WHO SAID THAT!? LOL

Hi Sis...

Ohhh boy...you got all kinds of new goodies! Girl, you can do some serious coffee grinding at your place! Hehe! You know, I don't think I have even seen one work. I have never known anyone that had a coffee grinder. Do you use yours? I'm so glad that you found these...they are such great additions to your collection, Sis! Thanks for sharing them with us! Ohhh...and that bread looks yummy! I need a piece! Hehe!

Well sweet friend, I just read your note that you left over at my place. I have been out of circuit all day...still sneezing and just not feeling good! I decided I better check my blog and see what was going on. Anyway, would love to have you call on Sunday. As far as I know...we'll be home. We are supposed to run to town tomorrow...groceries, etc. Hope I feel good enough! Will be looking forward to you call, Sis! Talk to you then!

Love ya,

Great collection! The largest one is a real beauty. Recently I was trying to remember who it was in the land of blog that had the storage bin counter.
Hope it is warmer where you are than it is here.
Enjoy your weekend.

Yippee! Gloria linked up to Favorite Things! You have been a busy coffee grinder buyer! They are all wonderful. I love the colors and the graphics on tham! I don't know why it is that you always find these treasures. In all of my "junkin", I've never seen a coffee grinder as pretty as these. (I think that may be the problem. I REALLY AM going to junk stores, and these beauties are NOT junk!) Since the first time I saw your bin counter, I've thought it was the neatest kitchen island I'd ever seen. Thank you so much for linking these wonderful treasures to Favorite Things. laurie
