~Lets take a stroll thru my hallway~

Hello guys....want to take a stroll thru my hallway today....I thought I would show you what I have in there...My hallway is pretty wide so I'm lucky I can place furniture in it.... This is an antique walnut library table I have and on the top I have an Oak Tower Display case from ca. 1910 from a old general store...I love to change out the inside of this piece its great for displays and storage ha ha!! underneath of it I have my Victorian Salesman sampler fainting couch....

This is my Child's white wicker rocking chair from ca. 1920

One of my Tiffany style lamps and a candle holder and picture of Marie Antoinette...

This is one of my mechanical banks this one is called "Trick Dog" you put a coin in the dogs mouth and pull the lever and he jumps through the hoop and puts it in the barrel.....

I also keep all my little hats boxes in here with the hats inside of them...to learn more about these click here...

I also keep alot of my family pictures in here also...

This is also in my hallway....I call it my "Holy Moly" because its an Antique baptismal bowl if you were like to know more about it click here
I added the glass to the top of it so I could use it like a table top ha ha!! The bust is one of my favorite one out of my collection..

Is this not pretty...I know this kind of stuff is not for everyone...but hey I told you I march to a guitar with a few missing strings ha ha!!

One of my Victorian photo albums and an Art Deco photo stand....ca. 1920

I just love all the details in her face....I had the album for many years when I found the stand and just knew it was a marriage made in heaven ha ha!!!

Well guys that it for today next week I will show you the other side of my hallway....I want to thank our sweet hostess Marty for this fun day for us gals...

So until next time from my mountain top to yours,

Hugs and smiles, Gl♥ria

Hi Gloria! Well I enjoyed the tour... So I do have a question... if I were visiting and put my keys down and couldn't find them would you actually say "Look on the Holy Moly." (That thing is awesome!)

I went in Thursday morning with a very infected, full of stones gall bladder. They operated yesterday. The surgeon was trying to get it settled down a bit plus my temp had gone up to 102. SOOO, I missed a bit, but I will be catching up soon. Big Hugs my friend, Cindy

Holy Moly! You have some fabulous stuff! I love the antique walnut library table. Your house would be a treat to visit. Do you have to dust everything yourself? I hate dusting. And now that my hutch is black, I'm having to dust more often. Did I tell you I hate dusting? Thanks for sharing. Can't wait till next week to see the other side of your hallway. I have furniture in my hallway too, but it's pretty cramped.

I love touring your wonderful home Gloia. The stand and album are a match made in heaven! Now if you wanted to make faux kitty really real, you'd put him right in the middle of the hallway floor. That's where our cat lays, or wherever he can find a Spot Most Likely To Trip A Human!
Hope the trip to the dentist went well.
Hugs,
Dawn

I've probably said this before but I want to move in with you! lol Your home is so filled with breathtaking antiques and I'm sure it would take me months to admire each and every piece:-) You also have such a flair of knowing how to group everything and what goes good with what. They had a very similar child's rocking chair at the auction last week and it went for a high price, a couple of people were fighting for it! lol Thank you once again for such a delightful tour in your home:-) xoxo
