Hello !! Girls well you heard me mention how I love to go to our Hospice thrift store here...Well today I did my weekly trip and had to show you one of the things that Hopped home with me... Is this not the sweetest Cake stand? of course it is...It's brand new still in the box...Our Hospice have so many things that is supported by our local merchant's All items donated from Wal-Mart, K-Mart and local gifts shops... So any items that our stores could not sell last season is stored in the Hospice warehouse and they bring it out durning the season...This is a huge store...I just love their cause and what they also do with the monies they make...If you or a family member have ever had to use their wonderful service you know how caring and wonderful this group really is....

Look at this cutie bunny running through the cabbage this is the front...

This is the bunny hiney...WOW!! I have a thing about Bunnies Hiney's this week don't I...

Now you can see the little ribbon that goes through the basket edge....

It came with these little eggs holders and the eggs...Look at the basket top on it...SWEET !!! They are 3 Bunnies egg holders...and three basket ones...

Bunny with a flower pot...

Butterflies basket with egg...

Basket with a bow...

Basket with a flower...

Now is this not sweet...Thanks for coming by and seeing my wonderful Hospice find today...Now if you have a shop in your area PLEASE go and help support their great cause...and also you too can bring homes some of the best things...I give them all my paper bags and plastic ones I don't use...All my old newspapers for wrapping...OH my I almost forgot to tell you what I paid for this $5.50....also got another Ironstone soup tureen for $ 2.50 and 3 little basket salt cellars for .75 cents that I want to use in a Tablescape...

Oh I am not a spokeperson for Hospice but seen the care they gave my Brother Dennis before he died and my Mama....

May all you you have a Blessed and Great day....

Looking forward to seeing the salt cellars, too! BTW, did you ever use your swan salt cellars in a tablescape? Sorry if I missed it...I can't get around to all of them now like I once could. Susan

What a cute plate stand, I can see why it hopped home with you. I will be looking forward to seeing the other items your purchased.

I agree with you, Hospice is such a wonderful organization. My grandmother volunteers for Hospice, and she is 88 years old. It is amazing what wonderful care they give to their patients.

Have a wonderful weekend, Nicole

Oh' that is just the sweetest. The plate was cute enough by itself, but then you get the bunny/basket egg holders.....with eggs!! Perfect for your Easter displays.

I would be shopping that store daily and probably be broke. LOL

Gloria,
I can't believe the luck you have finding these awesome treasures, not to mention the bargains! (I would have bought it too...)

I finally bought a tureen! I was doing the happy dance at Home Goods today, when I found a pretty white tureen with the ladle & plate for $12.99. (I thought I misread the price & had my friend double check it. ☺)

Hugs!

Mornin' Sweetie...

Goodness gracious...great balls of fire!!! Girl, you made out with the best Easter treasure find ever!!! That bunny cake plate is absolutely precious!!! Can't believe they wanted only $5.50 for it! Hehe...I think you do have a "thing" for bunny butts, Girlfriend! Hehe!!! Butt they are soooo darn cute!!! Love all of the detailing...that pretty basket weave on the top of the plate...but ohhhh, my favorite thing about it that pretty lavender ribbon weaving in and out around the side! That just makes it!!! Hey what do ya say...let's get that cake out of the freezer...put it on that pretty little bunny cake plate...and have some!!! Hehe!!!

Girlfriend...I totally admire and I'm so thankful for the work that Hospice does! They came and helped out with my Grandma...the dearest, sweetest, and most caring people ever! It's always such a hard time but they sure do make the load a bit more bearable!!! Wished our Hospice service here did a store like that! Hmmm...if I were a bit younger, sure would be fun to start one for them!

Well Sweetie...hope your Saturday is filled with pretty pink pleasures!!!
Love ya,
Chari

What a great find! And what prices, you are the queen of bargain hunting! Hospice is a wonderful organization, and I think it's great that local merchants donate unsold goods to them instead of shipping them off to be resold. Lucky for you and great for your community! Kathy

Dear Gloria, I wish our local hospice had a gift shop here ... I would be a big customer for sure. My mother's care during the last six months of her life was so much richer and caring than anything I had ever seen....bless all hospice workers.

Love your post and your shopping for a cause. I had to laugh when I stopped here...we're on similar bunny wave lengths! Even our music is the same. (I was very disappointed that the Gene Autry version wasn't working.) Have a delightful weekend...Nancy
