~APRIL FOOL"S DAY~ Or whats left of it~~~

Hello Girls!! Well today is April Fool's Day ...So I thought I would fool you guys into thinking I could do a Tablescape... Thank you Susan for hosting this fun event every week for us...Be sure and go pay her a visit and see all the ones who are not trying to FOOL you Today with their talent lol!!

To start with I got out my pruning shears and took off for the yard cut me some Daffodil's and put them in my Ironstone soup tureen I got 2 weeks ago at the Hospice thrift store for $2.50 just though this would make a pretty center piece and wanted to shop my house without buying anything.....

Now I think all of Blogland has these cabbage leaf plates...Ross $3.99....Napkins I have had for years...I got 6 of them Yard sale .50 cents....

These plates I got also at Ross like 2 months ago for $3.99 each....Just loved the little flowers on them and thought I could use them also for chargers....

Flatware was from Wallyworld $15.00 for service for 4...The flowers on them kinda match the plates...These also I got like 3 months ago....

OH !! and girls these little flowers pot place card holders with the bird nest at the top my friend Lynne sent to me just as a "I LOVE YA" gift....They are as sweet as Lynne ...Now if you have never been to her Blog Please go by and see this wonderful woman...And also Please leave her some prayers for her and her husband Bill who been very ill...I know she would love to hear from you.... Lynne I love ya girl...your the best and my heart and prayers still coming your way...

Now the Glasses are also a Hospice find last year....I got 8 of them for $4.00 I used these also at Christmas ...OH and look girls the Famous Target salt and peppers shaker birds...I think all of Blogland also has these...I do believe we made Target richer buying these ha ha!!

Oh girls I wished you could smell these...my whole kitchen smells wonderful from them...We also have PINK Daffs but they have not bloomed yet !!! Yes Daffs come in many colors that just Yellow...see the Orange and Yellow ones and the White ones here....Now These Bunnies are all made out of Straw, Burlap, and wire, These are from a ca. 1950 Flower shop display and I found them at the Second Sunday Swap meet last year...these I keep in my Bunny bathroom...But I thought I would use them on my table for Easter these each stand 2 foot tall...Now this is Mr. Bunny !! I just love his burlap bow tie and his hoe guess his is getting ready to dig for carrots as he sure have bunch in his basket...

Now here is Mrs. Bunny is she not the cutest thing...she also has a basket full of carrots...Now this is Mrs. Bunny's Butt and I think she has been eating more than just Carrots...What do you think...I mean that's some BUN-licious she's going on there ha ha!!

Now I hope I FOOLED all of you into thinking I could do a Tablescape....Some have it and some don't and I don't....But I do love my dishes lol!!

May you all have a great and Blessed day

Hugs and smiles Glria

Hi Gloria,
I always enjoy visiting your blog; it is so warm and inviting and filled with clever ideas! I noticed on your profile you like the movie Steel Magnolias, it is a favorite of mine also. I just bought the same plates as your white ones only in yellow. I used them in last week's Tablescape Thursday. Take care, Cathy~

Hi Gloria,

You have a beautiful tablescape there! I'll bet your family has sat around your beautiful dinner table many timnes complimenting you on your pretty dishes and flowers (a soup tureen... you have opened up a new world of ideas for me with that!). ;-D

I have the white plates as well, in the salad size. We don't have Ross here (and I wish someone would tell me a little about this store) but I found them at TJ Maxx. I would like to find soup bowls too; they really are pretty. I looked at a close~up and your silverware is very pretty also and goes well with the plates.

I just found out that Lynne is back and my heart & prayers go out to her.

Happy TT & April Fools Day Gloria!!

xoxo
