~I"M TASSELED OUT & GIVE AWAY WINNER IS~

Hello Girls, I'm joining in with Tam at The Gyspy's Corner for 3 or more Tuesday....

And Susan at Between Naps on the porch for Met Monday... I hope all of you had a great weekend...Mine was super...My grand daughter Candace came and spend the whole day with me on Saturday...She's the light of my life and we have so much fun when we get together...She and I did not one but two tablescapes...Oh Joy Oh Joy!! how much easier it was to have help and she's got such wonderful ideas...Will show you one this Thurday...

Now Candace loves to do crafts with me ever since she was a little girl, Now I have seen all these Beautiful Tassel's all over Blogland...And then Melissa at Heart and Home send me one.... If you like to see it click Here... Well at that point I was hooked THANKS Melissa another fine mess you got me into ha ha!!

I found these little snow men at the Dollar Tree and thought they would be so cute made into tassels...Got me a dow pin at Lowe's and had Len cut it into pieces for me...As I need a base to work off...

I drilled a hole at the top of the hat and put in an eye hook...Painted the eye hook and dow pin to blend in...

Cut my ribbons...Largest ones start at the bottom...then work your way up...

I just kept adding ribbons and trims until I got it the way I wanted it...Now to make the loops just glue the ribbon on the base then loop it and glue again...It's hard for me to take pictures and hold the ribbion at the same time...But you get the idea...

Now this is my little snow man Tassle....So easy and very fun to make...

This one I just made on Friday...I think it's my favorite one because of the Bust and it goes great in my living room with all my other Busty Girls ha ha!!

A sweet Christmas Bell...Candace made one of these yesterday in Mary Engelbreit colors for her kitchen...

I love these goofy legs on these things...I cut them off and then reattached them...

This one I made for Candace for her living room as it's her colors..

Love the feather one...

Now I know all of you didn't come by just to see me do my Tassel happy Dance ha ha!! So lets get to the winner of my 1 year give away... I had 107 people that tossed their names in the hat...however I minus out 2 because one was my Daughter Dawna and another one was my grand son Josh...So I went to Mr. Random Number thingy and put my numbers in....And it Came up number 36....DRUM ROLL PLEASE...that would be Cathy at " Millie Fleur " Congrations my friend..Please email me your Address so I can get your box of Goodies all packed up to you...My Email is on my profile page...
I want to Thank all of you that entered my give away...Now I have only 2 more post's before I hit my 200 post...And I also have my give away all ready for that...It really has been a fun year for me in Bloggerville and getting to meet so many caring and sharing ladies...I have truly enjoyed my time in this neighborhood... I also would like to Thanks through that have watch my journey this year and the new ones that will watch my journey from now on...
May all of you Have a safe and Blessed day on your side of the mountain...
Hugs and smiles Glria

Love the tassels you and your granddaughter made. Very pretty.

Your tassels are beautiful Gkloria! Love that you shared the tip of glueing a base onto the bottom. I was fixin' to (I'm sure you know thta Texans are always "fixin' to" do something LOL) make a tassel out of a mini-pumpkin ornament but was just going to try glueing the ribbons onto the base which probably would have been messy-looking. I bet a thread spool would work perfectly!

Hi Sis...

Ooohhhh...I'm loving all of your fabulous tassels, Girl!!! So glad that you did a post and reveal!!! I just know that you and Candace had the times of your lives...I'm so happy that she lives close to you where you can enjoy one another's company!!! You know...I love crafting but it's even more fun when you have a "crafting buddy"! My mama and I used to sit for hours and craft together...I sure do miss her! I just talked to her last week, the 22nd was her birthday! She was painting more red barns on white plates...ohhh, you should see them...they're gorgeous! She's a very talented artist! Anyway...so happy that you and Candace had so much fun together! I love the pretty blue and brown tassle that you made for her livingroom...love that pretty fleur de lis ribbon! I'll have to look for some of that!

Well...I was trying to pick a favorite but quite honestly...they're all gorgeous!!! I really do like the little snowmen! Love those "dangly legs"! hehe! Sis, I already have some of those darling little red cardinals on the pinecones...I bought a couple of them from my Dollar Tree the other day...also got a couple of the ones sitting on the acorns too! You know how I love my birds! Hehe! Girl, I love all that pretty feathery trim that you used...where did you find that? It really adds to the tassels...so pretty! Dang...you're such a creative and talented gal! Sure wished we lived closer...we'd have so much fun!!! Hey...why don't ya'll move out here to Colorado...we have a bunch of land, of course, it's all flat land! Hehe! But we're only a couple of hours from the mountains! Hmmm...sounds like a deal to me!!! wink!

Well Darlin'...what do you have going for this week? Have you heard back on any of Len's tests yet? Let me know when you do...okay! Hey...I bought a fireplace mantle...want to do a faux fireplace in my living room on that wall where I have all the white trim panels! I'm hoping to get the mantle tomorrow! That'll keep me busy for awhile! Hehe!

Shoot..now I'm writin' books on your blog...should have just emailed you I guess! I do want to shout out a great big Congratulations to Cathy at Mille Fleur for winning your fabulous anniversary giveaway (lucky gal!) Wow Gloria, you have been so busy! Your tassels are great. All so different, it's hard to choose a favorite.

I found an adorable witch tassel for halloween at Michaels and put her on a wreath. You can see it on my "I've been Boo-ed" post from yesterday.

Congrats to Cathy, I love visiting her blog. I'm way behind on getting my giveaway done.

Is it a blustery day on the mountain? Blowing like crazy here.

I love all your tassel designs...makes me want to start my own collection to replace the regular tassels I have around my house! Have a great week!

Oh Gloria absolutely love the tassels. I can't wait to get started. I have just about give up on all the Christmas decorating as I just can't pull and tug all those boxes and things out of the attic. I am going to make some of these to decorate with and give them away at Christmas when everyone is here. They can take their pick. That way it will give me something to do, but I won't have to put them all away.
Just came from Tootsie's place and I why she loves you so.

Hi Sis...

Just stopping in to say hello and see how you're doing! Wanted to let you know that we're under a "winter's storm warning"...it's supposed to start snowing this afternoon through Friday! They said that we could get up to 14 inches. That doesn't sound too bad but we always get all the wind with it out where we live...yep, that means blizzard and white-outs! We went in and got groceries last night so we'd be stocked up...got gas for the generator...and have plenty of firewood just in case we lose our electricity! I sure hope not but we're prepared if we do. Anyway, just wanted to let you know...in case we do lose our power for a few days...you won't worry whats happened to me! hehe! Russell is supposed to be bringing my new fireplace mantle home with him tonight...I'm so excited!

Well Darlin'...hope that my note finds you well! Was just thinking about you!!!

Love you, Sis...
