The one thing I will always remember about my own Mama was her smile...she also would light up like a Christmas tree over the littlest treasure...Chari your mama is beautiful my friend...The BIG smile says it all...
No matter what you are doing today take the time to make someone smile...it will make your own heart feel so HAPPY...No you don't have to make them a lamp...but sometimes just a kind word will change the day for someone and put a smile in their heart!!
May all of you have a GREAT day...
Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

That is so cute! How do you deal with the cord?
That little tea cup lamp is the cutest thing. No wonder your friend's mama was so pleased to receive it. You are very creative.
Gloria,
You sure did put a smile on my face today, not only with your thoughtful gift and the pictures of Chari's mom opening her gift, but when you remembered your mama's smile. If there is one thing I remember about my own mother~it's her smile and the sparkle in her eyes. Today is her birthday. She would have been 80 years old. She has been gone 8 years. It may sound strange, but I try not to let my mind wander and think about her too much because it still hurts not to have her here on earth. Lots of things make me smile these days, but life is never the same after you lose someone so precious.
Wow, I'm sorry to be such a bummer on your great day. I love, love, love the tea cup lamp. It is generous and thoughtful present, and pretty, just like you. I love your positive personality and how your happiness spreads out all over blogland. You are SO SPECIAL GIRL!!!
Have a great day Gloria! :-)
xoxo

Seeing Chari's mom's smile made my day also. We never know how far an act of kindness will travel. Sally

Oh, that is sooooo precious. I love the nest in the cup and the spoon on the side. Absolutely darling. I am so glad she loved it...but then, who wouldn't??
Oh Gloria, that is the cutest little lamp ever. I just love them. I was really ooohhhing and aaahhhhing over the teacups and saucers I saw in your bin, and then I saw that absolutely gorgeous little pitcher. My heart just went pitty patter. It is so pretty. I would have all of those things out and on display somewhere. I need to go back to your tutorial and see if I can make a little lamp. I love them so much. I know Chari's mom is thrilled beyond belief with her treasure. It really is beautiful. Thanks for helping us all smile today. Hugs, Marty
