~ PINK SATURDAY AND AN UPDATE ON KYRA ~

Well girls !!! can't believe its been a week already...time such is flying by right now...Please to see all the PINKness this week visit our hostess Beverly at : http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/12/christmas-at-our-home-day-nineteen.html there is always allot of great PINK eye candy every week.. Here is a Picture of my Mama didn't she look pretty in Pink..this was taken in 2000 when she was 78 years old..all her friends use to call her Giggles because she was always giggling or singing she loved to sing and she was pretty great at it... This just teared me up to see her sweet face again...

Now this Pretty in PINK Picture will get me killed for sure !!! this is my Grand Daughter Candace at a year old taking a bath in the kitchen sink...this was 25 years ago..just check out the size of that micro wave then WOW!! but did you notice I had a blue and white kitchen even then...now Candace if you see this ...girl just remember I am old and don't know what I am doing any more !!! and I am your favorite Granny girl...

This is just a Lamp shade I made 2 months ago and Yes its PINK...but I did add some black beads to it.. this is called a tulip shade....

This is just a Flute cover for a chimney... they would put these cover on the hole at spring time when they removed the pipes for cleaning them...what a sooting job that must have been..

Just one of my Rose paintings...all this PINKness is in my office ...
Now I want to give everyone an Update on my new little great grand daughter Kyra Shea...she is only hours old...but they found that her esophagus was not attached to her stomach so while she was nursing all the fluids were going into her lungs..they did a trek on her and put a feeding tube in her so she can eat...They will medic vac her to children's hospital in Dallas tomorrow morning as she also has heart problems...her Aorta valve is damaged so she will probably have to have open heart surgery... We are all praying that she will be find...I just know God won't let any thing happen to this precious little girl...my Grandson and his wife are so upset...its so sad as both of them were so happy this morning to finally have their first born with them...and now this...Please keep my family in your prayers....Thank you and God bless...I know God hears all ....

Hope all of you have a safe and blessed day....thank all of you for your congrats yesterday on my great grand baby...I promise will get back to all you that comments on that post....
Hugs and smiles Gloria

Really like your flue cover. I found several a few years ago and have one of them hanging in my hallway. The others were given as gifts.

From my mouth to God's ear, I am praying for your Great Granddaughter. I know how helpless you feel right now. We have to put our faith in God and his guidance of the Doctors caring for Kyra. My prayers are for you as well as Kyra and her parents.

I love this post today. Your mother was one beautiful woman! I can see by her sweet smile why she was called giggles, I'm sure she lit up a room just walking in. Now, I'm crazy over that flute cover. You sure can't hardly find those anymore.
Again continued prayers for you and yours darling..

Gloria, What a great pic of your Mom it's unbelievable that she was 78 in that photo. I hope I look that good when I'm 78! That photo of your granddaughter in the kitchen sink made me chuckle because I always bathed Jacob in the sink, too. Sometimes he sat in there when he at his lunch too if he wanted - they are such little peanuts.....Hope you are having a Happy Pink Saturday ~ Robyn
