~Taking a Break~

Hello Girls, I hope all of you had a GREAT weekend...Now I will be taking a Blog break...

As I will be tied up....

My Grand son Jacob at Fort Hood Texas with his 2 sons...The newest one is Issac and he was born Sept 22 and Jeremiah is 15 months old...Jacob been a busy boy in the Army ha ha!! Don't they look sweet all taking a break....

Now next week is also my Blog Birthday...I will be 2 years year just feel like a hundred ha ha!! Any way I hope to be home by that time as I do have something special to give to one of my loyal followers because without you I would not have made it to two...You guys are the best that will come by my silly blog that has no rhyme or reason to it...I never have fitted into a niche yet in blog land...I'm not a decorating blog, a DIY blog,Gardening blog, or a Foodie blog, I just talk about my life and every now and then will toss in an antique or two and give you abit of a history lesson on it...I started this blog mostly for my children and grand children...

And you guys have no idea how surprise I was when I did my very first post 2 years ago and had

27 comments on it...It also opened up a whole new world to me and I have got to meet so many caring and sharing women I have met women that I will be friends with until I die...Just how cool is this wonderful world of blogging...

I have come here on days when I have been down and had health issues so many have just lifted up my spirits, I have seen so much wonderful inspirations in blog land, I have gotten to look inside your homes and yours hearts...
I have cried with you, prayed with you, felted your pain, and even laughed with you and you with me...You guys really are the BEST...It's like you have all became a family to me and just accepted me for who I am. Blog land has no age barrier...

A BIG THANK YOU!! from the moon and back...

This is my youngest Daughter Dawna she is my pride and joy and she will be having surgery this Wednesday and I will be going to Minden, NV to stay and take care of her...And I will not be blogging while I'm there...Family is always first with me and Blogging is my hobby...I have so little time with my family any more and when I'm on vacation or with them I like to spend all my time with just them, like I have always said "Life is like a roll of toilet paper and the closer it gets to the end the faster it goes"

Dawna was here Saturday night and I got to take a picture of her and her grandson Landen James...Too sweet for words...All 3 0f my daughters are now Grandma them selves...God has really blessed me to see this great new generation in my family...

30 years ago I got cervix and uthera cancer and all I asked God was to Please let me live to see my daughters raised and be with them...

15 years ago I got Ovarian Cancer and again I called on God and asked him to Please let me live to see my Grandchildren raised and God heard me once again...Now I'm getting to see all these great grand babies...How great can life be??
And How Blessed can one women get....

Now I have been working on a few things around my house that I will sharing with you when I get home...

Just one of my newest treasure's I found at the swap meet yesterday...Oh this looks so pretty in my kitchen...

And girls speaking of Kitchens, don't forget that Shelia at "Note Songs" will be having her kitchen party on the 13th of course all of you know in Blog land that really means the night of the twelve ha ha!! I hate missing out of this fun party...So girls get those counter's cleaned and shine the sink and join in..and have some fun...

And one last thought they say you are what you eat...will I think I better give up garlic now ha ha!!

I hope all of you have a GREAT week and if you could say a little prayer for my Dawna...

Love ya to the moon and back...See you next week...

Until next time from my mountain to yours,

Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
