~My Fall Coffee Table~

Hello guys, Today I'm joining Marty at "A Stroll Thru Life " for table top Tuesday...I have really missed doing this fun party each week...Thanks Marty... This one of my coffee tables in my Living Room...I wanted a fall look without going into the orange color...No matter how hard I try I just can't do orange in my house ha ha!! In fact I already tore apart my mantle I just did with orange ha ha!! Do you do that? put something together and live with it for a few days and just know it's not you ?

I started by using one of my Gold table runner's and just kept adding as much brown's as I could get away with...I love this sweet dish I found at Ross this year...Maybe by Halloween I will put some candy corn in it...or maybe mini Tootsie rolls at least their brown ha ha!!

My sweet little brown birds I got last year at Michael's...

Of course I had to add a cloche with a harp clock under it...Added a tassel to the top of it and sat it all on a glass cake stand...

OK I'm tired now...I'll just put my feet up and see if I like this new look...

Thanks for coming by...Now 2 weeks from today is my BIG second year of Blogging and I have something really GREAT for those that follow me...At least I think it's something that every woman needs in her life...And NO it's not a maid lol!!!

Until next time from my mountain to yours,

Hugs and smiles Glria

Oh, shucks a maid sounds real good. Love your fall coffee table vignette and girl you know I don't live with anything very long before I am changing it up again. Love that cloche over the clock.

Hi Gloria,
Your cloche is just stunning and I love your gold runner! I saw those little birdies in at Michaels just the other day; so cute! You have a beautiful display on your coffee table and thanks for sharing it with us. Have a beautiful week.

Hi Gloria Sweetie...
Oh my what a beautiful post, and I am so loving this coffee table top. Love the cloche, and I have to tell you I bought the same Fall leaf with the sunflower and little bird perched on it. I have gotten so many comments. I keep mine by the front door on my table for the house keys. We can always grab them on the way out.

Again just a beautiful share today. Hey I love that polish girl, what color is it?

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Oh I love it and you can just move it all over to my house and it will be just perfect. Even though I am using a lot of orange, all your gorgeous browns will be perfect with it. Love that gold runner and the leaf dish is lovely. Of course the cloche and cake stand have me drooling all over this pretty table. Stunning. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty

Hi Sis...

Girl, I can see that you have just been the busy little bee!!! You aren't resting...ARE YOU! Hehe! Oh well, you and I are both cut out of the same mold, Sis...and decorating and "piddling around the house" is probably the most restful thing that we could do!

Anyway, I just adore your new autumn vignette on the coffee table! It's autumn delicious!!! Love that beautiful table runner...oooh, so elegant! It's perfect with all the beautiful and elegant items on your table! Sis, are those pretty ornament thingys that you have...candles? I think I'm seeing a little wick sticking up out of them? Ohhh...they're gorgeous...I love them! Where did you find them? Love your new autumn leaf dish...of course, you knew I would...with that sweet little bird! Hehe I have my brown autumn birds out on my dining room buffet! Well Sis...your harp clock just looks fabulous under glass! The candleholders and pretty candles look fabulous with it!

Love that last photo! Sis, your living room is one of the prettiest rooms that I've ever seen! I love it!!! Hehe...I'm surprised that you didn't paint your toenails brown to coordinate with the browns in your pretty vignette! Hehe!

Love ya, Sis!

Your fall coffee table is beautiful, Gloria!

I think your table looks wonderful. You have all that red/rose color in your house...orange would be hard. We had cottage style furniture in our living room when we first moved in here...it had dark red cabbage roses on it and I found decorating so hard. Christmas was really awful...bright red was a nightmare. I bumped it to the basement and now have dark brown sofas...easier to work around!

Hi - love all of your 'browns' -- how about some brown M&M's for that dish? or Junior Mints? And what are we getting for your anniversary? Something we all need? Hmmmm... Are you giving away a Pool Boy?
Best,
Gloria

Very pretty table. I like those birds. The only time I ever use orange is during fall and then it has to be the correct color of orange. I tire of it easily and by Thanksgiving I am ready for it to go away.

Savannah Granny said...

Your "none orange" fall decor is beautiful. I especially love the clock. We don't need orange to welcome fall and you have just proved that. Go Girl!
Thanks foryou kind comments of encouragement. I look forward to our visits. Ginger

You don't want a maid?! I do- but I have issues with all of them- They just don't clean to my expectations. They either don't lift the cushions to vacuum, or they don't take all the "Stuff" off the tabletops to dust, or they want to mop instead of getting down on their knees to do the floors. I could go on... So it would be ok if you don't send me a coupon for a free day of cleaning from Merry Maids if I win! LOL
Seriously, your room looks lovely, Gloria. I love all the browns- my whole house seems to be that color. And I love your little clock under the cloche. Pretty runner, too. And the toes add just a spot of color.... tee hee

I think its a great idea to not fall into the tradition of always using certain colors for the seasons. I really like the pumpkin-y oranges, but if you don't, I like the browns and golds that you used. Great idea!

I stand in envy of your beautiful cloche!
