~Red Cardinals~

Well since this is the last Tablescape before Christmas I will be posting....I had to show you my Red Cardinal table that my Granddaughter Candace also did for me....You see girls I have TB so she does allot of things for me...Oh the TB stands for Tired Butt....ha ha!!

Again I think she did an awesome job on this table...Oh to be young and have so much energy....

The only thing I bought were the Red Cardinal plates from Marshall's the rest she shopped my house and my yard....Are they not pretty...

Chargers I got from Second Sunday swap meet 2 months ago.....

Wine glasses from Hospice thrift store last year....Candace just sat them down on Gold coaster and added a little red Cardinal to each one....

Candle sticks also Hospice...Candace just cut some berries from my mountain and wrapped them around each one and added another Cardinal....

Napkins from Christmas last year....I think these were from Home Goods....

Magnolia leaves from front yard sprayed antique gold....and all the cedar is also from my trees here....Oh its so great to have all these wonderful trees at Christmas time to decorate with....

Place mats from Ross....I think just loved the cut work on them can't remember when I got these either...You see I also suffer from CRS which means I "Can't Remember Stuff "ha ha!!

Pine cone centerpiece also shopped my yard to make this....Sat it inside of a Red Velvet box.....

I hope you enjoyed another one of my Granddaughter Candace's Tables....She is so sweet to do these for me...THANK YOU Baby girl...Of course I'm not going to tell you the mess we both can get into in this Dining Room while we are doing these....And when I say shop the house I mean under beds, sofa's where ever I have stuffed stuff ha ha!!

Now this is my side board that matches my table and I did it also in the plates to carry out the Red Cardinal theme I had going on in here....

Now I want to Thank Susan for being our great hostess and please go by and see her and all the really great Eye candy today....I just know their will be some great ones for you to enjoy....

May all of you have a GREAT day today....From my side of the mountain to yours...until next time....

I love your little cardinals. Don't you just love their colors? They are so perfect for the holidays. Your plates are stunning, Gloria. I just bought me some Winter Greetings cardinal plates too but they are still in the box. I am thinking of keeping them there until next year cause I used a different set for the table today. But your pictures make me feel like taking them out, lol.....Christine

Girlfriend, pick up that TB and go to Cracker Barrel. They have a cardinal tea pot and Sugar and Creamer that would go perfect with your table. And they are 40% off! Oh my goodness.....your table is gorgeous and I just know you would love those additions for it!

Glad it was just tired butt! You are so funny my dear and oh, the sideboard looks so lovely too! That doll sitting there is just perfect! Hugs, Cindy

Send your granddaughter to my house! I want one of those too!
She's fantastic!

Is this the one that wanted to go shopping at one in the morning after Thanksgiving dinner? Or am I mixing up my blogs?

She did a great job on your tablescape, it's really beautiful!
And I forgot you have that beautiful sideboard! I want that along with your granddaughter!
Merry Christmas!
All the best,
Eileen

I am laughing at you! Why? Because I have CRS too! But it doesn't stand for "can't remember stuff". Mine stand for "can't remember sh#*#!" :) I use that as my excuse all the time! Now TB I hadn't heard.
Beautiful table. Your granddaughter did a wonderful job. I love all the Cardinals. I saw my very first one this year while I was in Michigan. I was so excited!
I will miss your posts until you come back. But I have a feeling next week will be slow for everyone posting. Just too much to do and too much going on.
Have a wonderful and safe Holiday!
Merry Christmas! Karen

Oooooh, Gloria, you were bad to say you had TB! Before I scrolled down and read the punch line, I was crying ... then I was laughing OUT loud in my office at work! Maybe no one heard me ... what the heck ... 'tis the season to be jolly, right?

Candace did a wonderful job on this one! And you've done a great job shopping for all beautiful "ingredients!"

My favorite thing in this post is that magnificent sideboard! I think I'm in love!

The cardinals are fantastic, but the most fantastic part of this tablescape is your granddaughter Candace....what a doll! She created a sparkling winter tablescape --it's just gorgeous!
(And I can make an awful mess, too, when i do a tablescape, sometimes I don't even clean it up till the next day!)
Love the new plates -- in fact, I love everything, and I envy you the trees and bushes in your yard that still have such lovely things to cut and use.
Merry Christmas, my friend!
