~ Going to Grandma's House ~

I have always loved it when my Granddaughter Candace comes and plays house with me....Since the day she was born and I cut her cord I just knew we would not just be Granny girl and Granddaughter but also the best of friends....and she has yet to disappoint me....She's my Crime shopping partner, my craft buddy, my baking buddy and just grew up to be a wonderful woman and wife and never gave her Mama one lick of trouble growning up...She's Beautiful inside and out...All that meet her loves her to death...She's got a heart bigger than my mountain top....Can you tell I'm a proud Grandma ha ha!!

Also be sure and go see Susan today and see all the great eye candy awaiting for you to enjoy....Thanks Susan....

She did this table with things from the Dollar Tree and shopped my house....I think she did an beautiful job on this one and had to share it with you.....Thanks Candace....

Sat one of my many cloche's on an old mirror and filled with $$$ Tree ornament's tied a ribbon on top to match....This is her center piece

Remember the large foam snow flakes from $$$ Tree that we added glitter glue to.....well she used them for place mats....Sat down a white plate tossed a glitter snow flake on top and then added a clear plate for the setting....very clever Candace....

Also added some little silver frames with Christmas sayings....How cute can she get....

Also snow flake glasses $$$ Tree....sat a small glitter snow flake down to use as a coaster.....

Added a silver cup and saucer....

Remember the name card holder I show you how to make....Click here to see

Candle were white...but Candace sprayed them with glue and then glittered them....put them in $$$ Tree silver holder with with crystal ornament's from Wally World around them....

Also from $$$ Tree just loved these mirror Christmas trees...Candace just added a snow flake to the top....

I just love the way this turned out...One of her best yet for Christmas....

I can't wait to show you the Red Cardinal Table she also did for me....Thank You Candace for coming to Granny girl house to play with me ha ha!!

May all of you have a GREAT and safe day on your side of the mountain...I still can't get out of my driveway too much snow yet ha ha!!

Candace is just gorgeous and the table she set is stunning. Isn't it just the best fun of all to spend time with your granddaughters. I love the cloche of course, you knew that I would. Her place settings are so petty and I love the pretty snowflake glasses and the silver cup and saucers are absolutely fabulous. I love that you did most of it from the Dollar Tree, that makes it even more special. Thanks so much for stopping by TT post and you always leave the nicest comments. Hugs, Marty

The table is beautiful, Candace!!!

Gloria...isn't it amazing what a young person's imagination can do? Do we lose that as we grow older? lol!! I love the blue and silver...she has so many great ideas here with the snowflakes and place cards, gosh, I just love it!! I don't think I've ever done a better tablescape than the one my daughter did for me a few weeks ago. God love them!!

Wow! You're one lucky Grandma to have such a sweet granddaughter, and I'm bet she's awfully lucky too because she has you as a grandma! I love the table she's created. Very creative. I also bought those big snowflakes (placemats) and have them on my kitchen table. I love the glittered snowflake ornament as coasters...smart idea! Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to seeing the other table she's created too. Happy TT to you!

How beautiful ~ a snowflake table! Love it! I missed those snowflake glasses at the Dollar Tree, but I did get two dinner plates with snowflakes around the border to use at my Christmas Eve buffet. I think it's great that you are so close to your granddaughter. This time next year I'll be a grandma and I hope to be as close to my grandchildren.

Not only is she a doll, Gloria, she's really good at this! I love the fact that she used things for the $$$ Tree to do this table and mixed with some of your fine things, too. WOW! I am in love with those little Christmas trees, and I like how she repeated her theme with the snowflakes and blue throughout from the glitter on the candles to the place mats, coasters, and general table decor. I can't wait to see your cardinal table! GOOD going, Candace!!!

You have every reason to be proud, Gloria!

Hi over the mountain top .......
Your granddaughter is a carbon copy of YOU. How lucky you have her and her company.
Love your beautiful table - all the blue's and white. Love these two colors together.
i have been reading about your weather out there. It seems to have run its course and started toward us. The winds are howling out there now and the big snow
will hit tomorrow. We had such a gorgeous fall, though.

Miss talking to you all and I appreciate all the help you gave me in my "duh" situation with the computer. Now I know !!!

Be happy, gal -- it shows.
Thanks again, Connie :-)

Candace certainly learned well from you. She set a fabulous table. I especially love the Christmas words that are also girl's names: Holly, Joy, Noel, were the ones I saw. The clear plate over the snowflake was genius! I hope I get to meet Candace soon.

We're soaked here this morning. How much snow are you expecting?
