Thanks for coming by and for all your well wishes to my Grandson Jacob and his wife Morgan...now she was in labor for 38 hours and they had to do an emerency C-section on her as her and the baby's heart rated dropped so low and they were afraid they were going to lose both Mother and and baby...Praise the lord that didn't happen...both Jeremiah and mother are doing great.....
May all of you have a Blessed day...I know I feel so blessed with my life...and having you all in my life...You guys are the best.

Gloria, you have a beautiful patio and roses. I also love your iron patio set. So pretty. Again, I'm so happy for you about your new great grand! All the very best, my friend.
Love to you on Outdoor Wednesday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Just a quick question about the fountain...wouldn't it be safer for the birds and squirrels who drink from it to use food coloring instead of a toilet cleaner tab for the blue hue?
Your garden is positively lovely!
Lynne
Gloria, you just have some of the most unique and wonderful treasures! I love seeing them in between your lovely flowers. And I love your attitude about you living on the critter's land. So glad mother and great grandson are okay. Happy Birthday Jacob. laurie
Hi Gloria! Your garden looks so pretty! I love all of your old tools...such a nice touch! I am so happy to hear that Morgan and the baby are doing well! God does look after your family, doesn't He? Can't wait to see some pics of the latest addition! How is little Miss Kyra doing? Have a great week...hugs...Debbie
Just a fab post...you have so many areas to catch our eye! Love the cans and rake display~and I cannot help but smile about the squirrel and the tidy bowl blue addition!
I will have to try that!
Love it all Gloria! This is just what I WISH my backyard looked like. I'm afraid mine is still A PROJECT IN THE WORKS!
Love the Hydrangea...I've killed every single one I've owned. ACK!

Hi Gloria,
Wow! It is so lovely up here, your flowers look so grand and all the cute touches you have added of course! I love that iron table and chairs and oh the hydrangeas, I can't wait to see! We get tons of critters too, especially the deer, since we live in the deer capital of Wi. We put a bar of Irish soap in the garden and it does help. They don't like the smell I guess. Hugs to you, Cindy
Happy Outdoor Wednesday Gloria! I am glad to hear that your grandson's family are doing well! I love your yard... so many things to see... we could sit at the iron table for hours... laughing and watching the squirrels! Thanks for sharing your photos.~ Susan
Ahhh, I love the squirrel! We have lots of them running along the fences & in the trees but none that actually come in the yard when we're out. (Of course having 5 dogs in the yard with us may have something to do with it!)
Great pictures Gloria! I can't believe how big some of your plants are. The fuschia is huge! I just bought a pink & white one. I hope it does well. I tried one last year but it didn't make it...
Hugs! ☺♥☺ Diane
Love the iron table and chairs!
Dear Gloria,
Happy Outdoor Wednesday
your plants and flowers are so pretty and I love your iron table.
You can tell those squirrels are fed very well. My dad is not friends with the squirrels because they haul his pecans off and they destroyed his almond tree....my dh and I feed the squirrels...we enjoy them.
I would have never dreamed of putting a tidy bowl in the fountain....I just have bird baths but my sister that lives in phoenix has a huge fountain...
hugs and blessings
debbie
I love your gardens, but not only the plants. I love all the little accessories you add for interest all around, like the hanging watering can. Every where you look there is eye candy! You have done such a wonderful job of decorating your home both inside and out! Hugs, Loretta
Gloria,
You have a lovely outdoor area & all of your plants are gorgeous! I will have to try putting rusty nails around my hydrangeas b/c I love the blue color much better than pink. Have a great summer!
G~ Your outdoor pics are AMAZING!! I love the mix of all the flowers with your antiques!! And what a great tip about the toilet bowl tablet! :-)
So glad Jeremiah and mother are doing well! Love ya! L~
Gloria, gorgeous place you've got there! What variety of hydrangea do you have? I'll try to find one and do your trick. I'd love to see some blue blooms in front of my apartment, that would just be wonderful!
Thanks for sharing your pics!
Happy OW!
Your gardens are gorgeous, Gloria!
Congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful new great grandbaby!!!
I always love your garden 'art'. It reminds me of the outside of my great-grandmother's porch. There were always watering cans, etc. hanging there. Fond memories. Sally
Hi Gloria!!!! Love your garden photos, especially the tools on the rack. So charming! Have a lovely week, sweet lady.
Hugs, Barb
Hi Gloria,
I just popped over to let you know I finally did a post "just for YOU" on cleaning silks! You may want to go over and check it out.
Oh My! I was so surprised to read about your latest grandbaby. Thank the good Lord mother and baby are doing fine! What a scare for all of you, I'm sure!

You must...you must...you must come ot my house and show me how to grow all of those healthy and gorgeous blooming plants!!! You have such a green thumb!!!
I love my yard but we seem to have a little issue with things that bloom!!! We tend to just pull them out when they stop looking good and replace them with new:(!!!
I want a lush mature looking garden!!! All of your garden ornaments are wonderful too!!! You have quite the knack!!!
It is always a pleasure to visit with you!!! Have a wonderful OW!!!
XOXO
Cathy
everything looks great! i love your fountain :)
Gloria you know your house and yard are my kinda spaces! I love how you can hang stuff on the walls, like the rake and watering cans. You can't do that in a prissy fancy house LOL! All your roses and bushes are so pretty, and a honeysuckle in a barrel, never would I believe you could do that! We have wold honeysuckle that has taken over but the smell is fabulous! Love your paradise sweetie! Hope you are having a great week! xoxox
Hi Gloria, So glad the little one and mother are doing okay. I love your watering can and rake display! and I see you have a pet squirrel like me! lol. Mine get drinks out of the pool but I haven't been quick enough yet to get a photo of it! Those little critters are so entertaining aren't they?!
Hugs, Sherri:)
Well I did not know until I read this post how much we have in common. I love flowers, antiques, and feeding my critters. I have over 20 bird feeder(which the squirrels visit everyday). Your flowers are just beautiful. Thank you for your visit to my blog, and your very nice comment. Have a blessed day. Madeline
What a lovely yard. A great grandchild? My congratulations. Have a wonderful day.
Wonderful post...now I must go set out some nails to get rusty... :o) I keep adding what they tell me to get them back to blue and they're evidently not happy with the amount...but they are a pretty pink at least. Happy Wednesday
Thank you G!! Words cannot express how excited and relieved I feel to finally be off! I don't have any plans...and don't want any right now! lol I just want to get "back in touch" with my house and relax! Thanks for coming by QG...I sure do love ya!! :-) L~
GLoria! Rusty nails? Toilet tablets?? Ceiling fixture candleholders?? Is there no end to your creativity? What a beeUtiful patio ya got there. I had no idea you possessed such a green thumb. Around here, we are still waiting for things to really start blooming. I'll post pictures soon.
Take care and God Bless that little new baby!
Hi Sis...
Girl, I love, love, love your rose patio!!! Ohhh...you have so many pretty flowers...I just love those fushia plants! Do you know, I don't think I've ever seen one of those in person...just photos! The color and shape of the flowers just intrique me...they're gorgeous!!! Wonder how they do to cut them for fresh flower bouquets? Have you tried? I can't wait to see your pretty blue hydrangeas...I think that next to the rose...the hydrangea is my favorite flower and we can't grow them here in Colo...I'm sure it's too cold, I've never seen them anywhere around anyway! I would love to have some...fresh and then dry them!!! I just love them! I also didn't know that you could put rusty nails in the soil to make them more blue...that's so cool! Hehe! And...of course, I just love all of your old tubs, milk cans, and watering cans...ohhh, and that 2 man saw!!! I love decorating with the old stuff...you have done a beautiful job making your rose patio so pretty with these items!!! Did you paint the saw blades yourself? Sooo pretty, Sis!!! Ohhh yes, and I love your fountain...what an awesome idea...adding a blue toilet cleaner to make the water blue...I would have never thought of doing that...that's a great idea!!!
Well...I certainly can see why you enjoy sitting and dining out here...what a pretty table and chair set...I would love to have one like that!!! And Girl, revamping that light fixture for a plant/candle centerpiece is simply genius!!! I love how it looks...you did GOOD with that one!!! Thanks so much for sharing your rose patio with us...I know that it has special meaning for you...didn't you say that some of those roses were your mama's?
Girl, I'm still feeling puny today...didn't even get out of bed till noon! Sheeeshh...I feel like such a lazy bum! But I did good just to get the dishes cleaned up from last night's supper. Tomorrow is our anniversary...I sure hope that I get to feeling better by then!!! I sure appreciate your prayers Darlin'...you just mean the world to me!!!
Hope that you're having a wonderful Wednesday Sweetie!
Love ya,
Chari
PS...Just posted my seashell dishes tablescape..come by and take a look!!! Love ya!
Oh my Gloria, your patio is gorgeous and so many beautiful flowers. I loved the little squirrel. So cute. Now that is a place where I could just sit and relax with a glass of iced tea and watch all the lovely creatures and admire the beautiful flowers. BTW, thanks for joining the Cloche Party. I sure hope Mr. Linky works, I upgraded to Gold Member so maybe that will help. I think they're trying to phase the free one out. Anyway, pass the word along if you will so everyone will know and join us. Thanks a million. Hugs, Marty
Congratulations on your new great grandchild! Wow!
I love your yard. We live in mountains too and I say live and let live. Our three kitties sometimes think differently, however!
Gloria, it has been such a pleasure to visit your charming garden today. Everything looks beautiful. I sure wish I had a green thumb. :(
Gloria~
You've been holding out on us girl~ your patio and rose bushes are divine. I just love that squirrel....we have a few of them too...they hang on the bird feeder...and squawk at the cats...lol.
Hugs to you~ J
Hi Gloria! Oh, I love your garden! Man, what a rose vine! Your patio set is really a beauty, too! I've seen some like that on Craigslist and they're outrageously expensive!
Oh, I can't wait to see your big pictures! It's so exciting!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
What beautiful flowers you have! I love your patio. And how lucky that you can grow hydrangeas, they do not appreciate our climate at all! Congrats again on the newest little one. You're going to have a lot of fun Christmas shopping this year lol. Hugs, Kathy
I love your roses. Lovely pictures
I absolutely love your flowers and all your interesting decorations for your garden!!!!
Congratulations on your new great grandchild.... what a blessing!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.... you're so sweet!
Hugs!
Dolores
Gloria,
I love all of your roses!! You have to have a special talent for that~I won't believe anyone that tells me they are easy to grow! I also like that big geranium you have and the fuschia~I like those colors a lot.
I like seeing all the old things you have hanging. I saw some on your last OW post or maybe something other than OW, but I am talking about the wagon wheels and saws...that rustic look goes well with the prettiness of your roses! I also love your iron table. I want a little table like that for my patio. They are so pretty, even if they have shells all over them from the squirrels!! Yes, I have them too (although I don't feed them!). I have flying squirrels at the lake house~they are something to see!!
Congratulations on your new great grandson! I am happy everyone is fine!
xoxo
Jane
Oh wow Gloria, all of your flowers are looking so incredibly beautiful! I never knew you could enhance the blue of a hydrangea with rusty nails! See, ya learn something new every day! I have to get some to plant here, but not sure what exposure is best in our extremely hot climate. I've gotta look that up.
Justine :o )
