Oh my Gloria, I LOVE your dishes and silverware. They are just the cutest things I have ever seen. You have put together the greatest tablescape and everything just looks like you're on the ocean somewhere in a great big wonderful boat. Love it. Thanks so much also for giving the Cloche Party a shout out. I saw you mentioned that you might do a tutorial on how to make a cloche. So many of the ladies don't have one and say they are really hard to find or way expensive. I know they would all love to know how to make one. If you could that would be great. Thanks again. Hugs, Marty

Gloria, will you look at that! You even have the flatware to match! WOW! And look at your cute napkin rings! And that china! SO cute!

I like the new look of the blog. How did you do this, Gloria? I just changed my blog again, but I just changed its dress. LOL! The white was starting to bother my eyes. I would be happy with my Tiffany blue background again if I could get my pics to enlarge and get my blog to look like this with writing going all the way across. I do like it. It's easier to read, too! Was it hard to do?

Thanks for sharing your lighthouse dinner with us. I enjoyed being your guest.

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi Sis...

Girl, if you didn't just make my day with your special well wishes and mention for honey and me!!! You're the best, Darlin'!!! Love you, Sis!!!

I read the note that you left for me and told Russell what you said about giving him a kiss for you...you know, in an appropriate place...OMG, it was just so darn cute!!! He lifted an eyebrow and got "that" gleam in his eye!!! And then I told him that you said..."a place like the kitchen"! He just busted out laughing! Sheeshh...kind of spoiled the mood we had goin there for a moment!!! wink!!! I just laughed and laughed!!! He's so sweet...I told him last night not to go and buy me flowers (cuz he always does)...so the little honeybug came bringing me home a beautiful yellow rose that he hand picked tonight!!! Told me that I never said anything about not bringing me a flower that he hand picked!!! Girl, that man just melts my heart!!! Thank you so much for the anniversary well wishes, Sweetie...they mean so much to us!!!

Okay...now that I've written a book already..hehe! But I'm not finished...let's talk about this beautiful Lighthouse Dinner that you have goin on in that gorgeous lighthouse sunroom of yours!!! Sis, I love your new dishes...they're absolutely perfect for your sunroom! I noticed right off that your pretty dishes have the exact same colors on them that you have going on in your sunroom...they're perfect!!! I love the colors!!! Ohhh, and I love lighthouses too! The salad plates are soooo pretty with the red lighthouses! Do all four salad plates have the same lighthouse or different ones? I noticed that the dinner plates have a couple of different lighthouses on them! I love your new napkins...you're right, blue water!!! Girl, those lighthouse napkin rings are sooo adorable...and the pretty lighthouse flatware too!!! They couldn't be any better matched with your new dishes!!! Your place setting is fabulous!!! Ohhhh...and the S&P are so just so darn cute...you did good, Girl...with all of your ebay finds!!! You know, ever since I've seen your pretty blue goblets...I've searched and searched Dollar Tree...my store doesn't have them...boohoo!!!

Well Darlin'...I love, love, love your Lighthouse Dinner...and it all looks so grand in your Lighthouse sunroom...it just doesn't get any better than that!!! What time is dinner anyway? Hmmmm...thought I heard a ship's bell ringing...

Love ya Sis,
Chari
PS...love your new music...it's soooo perfect with your tablescape!!! Awesome!!!

Loved seeing peeks of your yard girl...you always have the neatest things tucked here and there..great tip on throwing rusty nails in the dirt around the hydrangea but sis....oh my word...the tip on the TOILET BOWL CLEANER IN THE FOUNTAIN!!! Ohhhhh that is hilarious!!!! lol lol

Love how you set up the sunporch with you lighthouse dishes and those forks & spoons are the cutest thing...oh I bet it is glorious to sit out there and eat and listen to the crickets at night..do you have lightning bugs (fireflys) out on your side of the mountain sis? I love lighning bugs..they use to be everywhere when I was a girl and we had them all over at night at our old home but down here you rarely see one...Bill stuck his head in the back door the other night and whispered 'Hon...I see a lightning bug"...I bought broke my neck running thru the house but he was gone before I could get a chance to see him....I know...I know...it don't take much to excite me! lol

I can't wait to see that cloche party!!! I need some ideas on what to put under mine...

I love the new yellow background girl and I would love to see your potrack you said you had...you actually use yours!!!!!? I just like to look at mine! lol Take care sis and have a glorious day! Love ya girl~♥~

Gloria I love the dishes. I was telling another blogger friend that I havent been to the ocean in almost 17 years. Seeing these wonderful dishes, sea shells, well basically the entire tablescape has made me determined to visit the beach even if it is only for one day. You have such a wonderful way of putting things together. Hugs, Loretta

Oh Gloria...I had to laugh at your last comment! My last set of dishes are still sitting on the table. I am thinking of baskets...at least for the smaller sets. My daughter, Mary wants my red transferware, the set JG Meakin set "Romantic England" and I am just not ready to give it up. I am still regretting letting Sandy take my "King Richard" set of sterling!
Everytime I see it on, I think, "Gollum's" tablescapes..I sigh...So..I think I will hang onto things right now.
I am SO pleased you decided to give Debbi a try. YOU are going to LOVE her work. I do! I can't wait to see what she comes up with! She does things exactly as you want..and doesn't mind at all changing something to suit you.
Love her!
Enjoy!
Nothing much happening here this weekend..except garage sales in the early morning and a pancake breakfast breakfast! LOVE doing that...especially so early in the morning when everything is so fresh. Did you get rain up there?? We did, but NOT enough!
Hugs..I should have written an email...grrrr..
