~DINNER IN THE ROSE GARDEN~

Hello guys, well everyone knows what today is...Its let's play with our dishes day ha ha!! Be sure and go by and see our Hostess Susan at " Between Naps on the Porch" to see everyone who is playing with their Dishes today....

Also just a reminder this friday is the fun day to show off all our Cloche's at Marty's " A Stroll thru Life" So lets get those Cloche's out and join in this fun day...Please go see Marty for all the Information...I know she would love to see you all!!

Since our weather has been so nice here on my mountain top...its always so fun for me to sit outside and eat...So today I thought I would show you what I did with a few of my Hospice thrift store finds from May....If you are new here and didn't see them all Please click here to see all the great things I get each month...I ♥ this store and every thing it stands for...
The Crystal Stem ware I got for a wedding present in 1969 many moons ago...Can't remember the pattern.... But its kinda like my wedding veil after all these years it still fits ha ha!!

This center piece I made from an Old ceiling light fixture also from Hospice....

Put a few candles in my Old bird cage so we could have a candle light dinner ha ha!! Also its very dark up here at night as we have no street lights...

I tried to add roses here and there....All napkins I got from Country Living where I use to work...Love the fact they are 2 sided....Napkin Ring from Hospice...got 4 of them for $1.00....

Flat ware from WallyWorld last year...I have really gotten my money worth from this....

Now this is Reindeer Moss that grows up here on my Pine tree's I just love this stuff I use it for many decorating projects here...its great for wreaths, under Cloche's on the fire place Mantle at Christmas time etc....Best part is its FREE !!!

Now here is what this electrial fixture looked like when I got it...It was only $2.25 because it was the end of the month where every thing is half off at Hospice...
I thought it looked kinda like a little Greenhouse...Just knew I could make something pretty out of it...I just love to find things and think outside the box with them...

You can see the wiring here...Added a clay flower pot for a candle some of my moss and cut some roses....

So what do you think girls...is it not pretty...I love that it matched my Iron table and chairs....

Love these napkin Rings I also found at Hospice....8 for $1.50

Now these are my LILY plates I found in May at Hospice....I paid a $1.00 apiece for these got eight of them also got the bowls to match....Just knew when I found them they would love pretty in a Tablescapes....

These are my Dinner plates I got from Ross last Year...$3.99 each...I also have used these a few times for TT as I can add so many colors with them...just love the dainty little flowers on them...

Rose bud Salt and Pepper...again another find for the month of May...

This Dresser scarf my Mama made years ago...she use to love to do any kind of needle work...Love the little lace she crochet around the edge...I was very Lucky being the only girl I got all this Beautiful stuff when My Mama died...

Isn't it beautiful with its basket of flowers

Hope you all enjoyed having dinner with me on my Mountain top...I sure love to have company...

Now guys... I had 36 comments on the Second Sunday post I did...so I went to Mr. Random thingy and put in my number from 1 to 36 and it came up # 26...so I counted now and...Drum Roll here !!! the winner of the White Ironstone soup tureen....Is Mona from Wsprsweetly of Cottages....Please Mona email me your Address so I can get this in the mail to you...Congrats...and Thanks to all who entered to win...I will be having yet another drawing next week...Hey I still have stuff to give away...Love all of you...

Ohhhh Darlin'...your Rose Garden tablescape is simply divine!!! I took a look at that very first photo and I wished that you could have heard my Ooohs and Aaahs!!! Girl, not only is your tablescape gorgeous but all of your photos are spectacular!!! What a lovely setting to dine in...your Rose Garden patio is soooo pretty and I just love, love, LOVE that fabulous iron table and chairs!!! I was really looking at the pattern...I think it's the prettiest one that I've seen! Where did you find it? Anyway...hehe, back to the tablescape! I really don't know where to start...each and every little detail is so perfect! I just love your old light fixture turned greenhouse/candleholder/centerpiece!!! Hehe...say that fast 3 times! But really it's just a great piece and so versatile...you did GOOD with that one, Sis!!! The reindeer moss and roses just make it!!! Now Darlin'...I just fell in love with your pretty pink lily plates when I seen them the other day...I just knew they'd make for a fabulous place setting!!! And could your mama's embroidered dresser scarf be any more perfect??? I think not...the pink embroidered flowers look like the pink lily plates...stunning!!! Now as stunning all of this is...I have to tell you that the very first thing to catch my eye were those sweet, sweet napkins!!! Oooohhh...love those! Love that they have a different but coordinated fabric on each side...they're soooo pretty, Sis!!! Now I want to sew me some like it...whew...I have so many projects that I would like to do! But these are so pretty and they'd be easy enough to make!!!

Well Darlin'...I'm so glad that you let me know about your tablescape...I've been so busy and I'm sure glad that I didn't miss out on seeing it!!! You have a big "high five" from me on this beauty!!! I love it!!!

Love ya Sis,

I just love your centerpiece! Just love it!!! What a great idea! I got to have one. Hubby always taking down lights for people, I hope he has taken off yet, I wait to hit his pile now! lol love the cloth and napkins. I adore your table set. All my outdoor furniture got crushed by trees. Adding back old pieces from family and friends. No table yet. lol Going to wait for a sale. Sorry I have not visited, got down for last few weeks with an infection, trying to get better. Got more meds today and got to have more visits with several Docs, one day a week for the next month. love your setting!
