~ TUESDAY TRASH ~

Good day girls...Yes I have been MIA for the past couple of days...WOW sometime life just gets in the way...I been on a date with "Mr. Clean" and the "Dyson man" is still waiting for me today !!! So many men so little time.. Today is Diane's at a Picture is worth a 1,000 words http://diane1876.blogspot.com/ Trash to Treasurer day do yourself a BIG favor and go by and see all the great stuff that the ladies have today to offer...Today I want to show you a Blacksmith Bellows that I found many years ago in the gold country..I also found these legs that came off of an old oak dining room table...I just loved this bellows I mean how cool is this??? Now I had these items sitting in my barn..until the day I could make a coffee table out of them...and Yes I do use it for a coffee table...this is it with it clothes on..

And this is what it looks like "naked" now you can really see all the details on it...and it still works ...just grab the handle and pull it up and down and it will whistle and blow you kisses..My grand kids use to love to play with this..

Well guys !! hope you enjoyed my "Trash " today...as I just love to find things and marriage them together...I better go as I hear "Scrubbing Bubbles" calling my name...Yuk !!

Hope all of you have a safe and blessed day...

Hugs and smiles Gloria

Holy cow, Gloria, that is the biggest bellows I think I've ever seen! Don't you snag your leg on the spout/blowy part?
You did such a good job making that into a table. Do I see cup holder insets there?

Justine :o )
P.S. How is Kyra?

Yeah for AI tonight - I'll be all cozied up - the only thing missing will be my partner in crime - Meghan. She left to go back to school yesterday!!

I think this marriage was made in "decorator heaven". What a wonderful use for two such disparate items. You really have imagination, Gloria. Kudos to you for your vision.

Very unique idea! and I was laughing about your little extra affairs with TWO MEN! hussy! :) In your pink saturdays post, I was in awe over your G.Grandma's shoes & the wedding dress. How special that is! I love the pink settee & little chair. Those are just beautiful!! So romantic...sigh...:) Everything looks just wonderful. Have a great day! ~ Laurie

Hey Girlfriend...

Just stoppin' by with big hugs and smooches for you...been missing you!!! Cleaning...yuk!!! Oh shoot, I need to be doing that myself but right now the act seems fruitless! I get things cleaned up and Russell comes home with another load of treasures from Dad's house...oh my, where am I going to put everything?

We came across an old trunk in one of Dad's homes...it had 8 different pictures in it...most of them are dated back to the late 1800's...the frames are exquisite! Some have those really old photos of the family homestead, etc. I can't wait to clean them up and hang them! Yep, I'm going to put them out...I just hate thinking about them laying in an ol' trunk!!!

Well Sweetie...don't work to hard and hurry back to us!!!
Love ya,
Chari

Hi Gloria,
Your comment about the 'men' made me laugh. There does not seem to be enough time in the day does it?

Love the coffee table. Thanks for linking to Trash to Treasure!

That's a great treasure, Gloria, and it's huge, too :o) In it's nekkid state, it reminds me of an aardvark (which, you have to admit, is a much cooler word than anteater, huh?).

Have a great week!

Victoria :o)
