Now this is my Hall Tree in my entry way and I made the books wrapped in ribbon with PINK flowers on it and also an angel with a PINK wrap on his bottom and a PINK candle...the Hall tree is also ca. 1880 and is walnut and burl wood..and if you look real close in the mirror you'll see me in my PINK sweats...Don't you love the color PINK??

Just a little side chair in my bedroom again its walnut with PINK Roses...and next to it is some PINK hats boxes that I covered in wall paper... And Yes I have PINK carpet...

Now !! this I just love its a lamp...all the flowers and leafs are glass...its also from around 1920 and a real bugger to clean...but so pretty when all lit up...

How about a PINK Bridal Bouquet ?? the Bouquet is old I just added the faux flowers to it...and Look girls my Great Grandma's shoes and the white dress is my Grandma wedding dress I even have the veil that she wore in 1913... WOW!! imazine trying to get those shoes off and on at airport security .....

This is just another one of my Victorian Pictures that hang above the towel rack...and I just loved the little girl and boy and the English Bunnies in it...I got the print at auction years ago and then had it framed...is she not the sweetest thing in her PINK dress..Oh I just know Lynne will love this one as she loves all things bunnies..and Girls if you have not been to Lynne's blog do your self a favor and go visit her...it will be well worth the trip..she has a wonderful blog and can decorate like no other and is just one of the Greatest friend you could have... http://lynnesgiftsfromtheheart.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-really-tried-to-give-it-upa-big-thank.html

I love your Victorian chair. You have the most unique and special furniture. I know your home is beyond amazing.

I got a bit confused just now. HMM...
I did not know more than one blogger hosted Pink Saturday? I was thinking about giving it a try and I left a comment to a lady named Lynn asking if I could join. I've never met Lynn or Beverly. Maybe I can try it next week after I figure this one out. If you can tell me more I would appreciate it.

Have a wonderful weekend.
~Melissa :)

Hi Gloria, :)
Well that clears it up for me that one person hosts it named Beverly.

A different lady named "Lynn" at a blog called "The Vintage Nest" had left a comment to another blogger inviting her to join Pink Saturday. I left "Lynn" a comment tonight asking if it was too late for me to join? She probably thinks I'm crazy by now. LOL!

I'll leave a comment to Beverly and ask her. I'm sure it's too late though.
I'll do it next week if so.

Thanks for the help.
~Melissa :)

Wonderful job coordinating the fabric on your settee and chair with the wallpaper you used to cover your hatboxes.
Your hall tree is a thing of beauty. The candle holder really adds bling. Loved seeing your Grandmother's wedding dress. I think I might have seen that at one time on RMS, but I could be wrong.
Really enjoyed your post.
