♥ Another Pink Saturday ♥

Hey Girls !!! well here we are at yet another PINK Saturday....This is hosted by Beverly at "How sweet the sound"
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ Please go by and see all the wonderful Pinkness today...There are so many great Pink Ladies..... And a BIG thank you to Beverly for this fun PINK day...

Today I have just Random things to show you in my home and of course the color of the day is think PINK... This is just a Victorian lamp that hangs in my living room...just love the pretty PINK flowers on the shade ca. 1860

This is what they call a Tiffany style lamp I have in my hallway...Most of these style shades are made by Dale Tiffany...not Louis and that's why they are called Tiffany style....

Now this I just love...this Wheel Barrel...its all wood and the sides come off of it to make a flat bed barrel out of it...I have this of course filled with dried wild flowers in PINKS and yellows and you can see even the old watering can has PINK flowers in in...this is in my Bunny Bathroom...which one day I will show you Ann, I have this bathroom all done in old gardening stuff with lots of bunnies....see you can even see part of an old picket fence...which I made into a towel holder...

These are just PINKS I have in a cabinet...Melissa did a PINK post on her Hope and I have the Peace one.. My Brother and his wife Tina started this collection for me...

A Yard long picture...these picture were at one time give aways as each one has a calendar on the back side of them....EBay still have them for sale...this one is called "Prom night" I stopped collecting these like maybe ten years ago because they got very expensive to collect so I only have 13 of them...these I have going up my stairs....

Now this is just one of my Victorian Pictures...just had to have it...loved all the sweet cherubs and PINK roses on it....

Homer Lauglin dishes I have these hanging in my doll room...and yes my doll room is PINK !!!

This is a whiskey bottle from the "Mustang Ranch " I know all of you know about the Mustang Ranch now don't you?? hey I collect weird stuff as I have told you...This is Mustang Sally with her PINK dress...

Just some more Pink and another figurine my Brother and his wife got me..

Now here are a few of my PINK doll...this one is called Sunday Best...just love the sweet little thing with her bible in hand getting ready to go to church...

How about a white wicker baby buggy with a Hi-Loo doll ?? Love the PINK satin lining in this buggy ca. 1920 and those baby shoes on her belong to my sweet little Grand daughter Candace and the PINK socks... Boy I really do save every thing don't I !!! This girl will be 27 in August...

Now this is one of my all time favorite Dolls...this is from Franklin Mint and it's a Gibson Mother and Daughter doll...I got this for my Mama's 70 Birthday as it reminds me of her and I...as I was always looking up to her...This my Mama always had in a special place in her home....I got it when my Mama died in 2007...now you know why its my favorite doll...

Hope I didn't bore you to death with all my PINK today..Told you to start with I could show PINK for a year and never run out...ha ha!!

Now many of you have asked me about Kyra Shea...well Tuesday she had to have a feeding tube placed in her stomach as she could not drink and swallow like she should...and the Doctors are going to do her second heart surgery in 2 to 4 weeks to repair the hole in her heart...they want to wait until she can gain weight...My daughter said she now has a button on her tummy...so she really is "as cute as a button" I want to thank all of you for your prayers for Kyra and her family...I will keep everyone updated as I get news on her... God Bless all of you...Blogger's are the most caring people I have ever met...There are days when I am so worried about Kyra and I turn this dang machine on and see all the love that everyone shares here and it just makes my day complete...God does work in strange ways..he gave me a computer to find all of you with...

Hope all of you have a safe and blessed day...I know I am very blessed...

Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

Gloria,
Thanks for coming by and leaving a note. I'm glad you enjoyed what you read.

We have some things in common. I love Homer Laughlin, and I have a bunny bathroom too (at my store that is).
Never thought to take pictures of it, but that would be fun.

I also have grandchildren, and they are a delight to me. (oldest only 14, so not close to any 'greats' yet.=0)

Your Calender paintings up the stairs must be beautiful. I love the one you showed us.

Bye for now. I'll be back for a visit.

Blesings,
Barbara Jean

Hi Gloria, :)
Well my goodness you do have a Roman angel collection! How pretty. I have never seen "Peace" before. She is gorgeous!

I love all the Pink you have shown today. Lovely Tiffany lamps too.
What a special and sweet doll that reminds you of your Mom. Sorry you lost her.

I'm so sorry to hear Kyra is still having some issues. I thought she may have been home by now.
I'll be praying hard for her and all of you in the family. I can't imagine what that's like to go through. I'm sure she will do well with the upcoming surgery. Let us know how it goes.

Have a good weekend my friend.

Thanks for the update on Kyra Shea. I'm glad to hear she's progressing and is "as cute as a button!" I'll keep her in my prayers. I love that garden cart! I can hardly wait to see the bathroom. Also, the whiskey bottle reminds me of my Aunt Jean. She had a collection of the most unique wine and whiskey bottles I've ever seen and it was extensive! I used to love to look at them as a little girl. You have such amazing treasures and it's always an adventure to get another glimpse of your home!

Hi my dearest of friends... You are so sweet & I have missed you... As you know I being the social butterfly of our little group never was never inside long enough to blog to much but now that I am home for a while I will be back regularly... I am praying for your sweet little Kyra Shea that all goes well... One of my little twin boys had to be feed through his little tummy button for almost 9 months... also he was in the hospital for the first four months of his life and my daughter was beside herself trying to care for the one at home and the one in the hospital which was 40 miles from our home... I lived with her for the first year... but now at 3 you can't hold him down... he is the most rambunctious & inquisitive of the two... I just know it won't be long before Kyra is running around and bringing joy to your house... I love you and my thoughts are with you... Oh yes your pinkness today was beautiful... Especially your baby dolls... LOVED them!!!

Hey Sweet G... I so appreciate your visit this evening. Bill and Bailey are both fine today. That at least is one less worry. I so appreciate your prayers. Snow? you had snow? We've had flurries and thankfully that is all. I have to get up at the crack of dawn to head to the city in the morning before I head to work, so don't want to drive in heavy traffic and snow. I hope you got your project up..can't wait to see it.. :-) Have a super evening my friend. my little guy is wanting me to play legos with him.. hugs ~lynne~

I know everyone is sending your family all the love and prayers they can.
This blog world does take your mind off things and yet at the same time helps us sort through our thoughts and then wonderful words of encouragement come to us without judgement. What a great thing. Your dolls are beautiful and your love for family and home is reflected in your blog. I am enjoying it very much.

Miss Gloria~ I love the mother and daughter dolls. I had a doll room for many years. Living with all males...I felt it help to keep the estrogen balance. I've boxed them up in hopes to gift them someday to a granddaughter. Which I keep hinting at to my newlywed son and daughter inlaw every chance I get.

I hope your lil' Kyra gets stronger and healthier with each day and is well soon.
