Now this is just the most cutest thing I have in my BLUE Kitchen...its a Sunshine Biscuits boy form ca. 1930 and look at his pretty BLUE eyes...this is from a General store display and he would of held sample crackers...but I love my little bread turtle my grandson Josh had made for me when he went to
Fisherman's Wharf...its very heavy but I still have earthquake paste holding it down..yes we do that in Calif...My Len got this for me Christmas 07...and it was one of the first things I posted on
RMS...

How about a BLUE Willow tea pot....just to love the BLUE bird on the top...

A fake BLUE Berry pie....Len got me this when we were just Dating...knew I loved my BLUE Kitchen...or he was hinting I should make him a pie....

More BLUE Willow plates with a BLUE and white wall pocket...don't you love these things..I have a few of them and think they are great !!! well that all I have to show for this BLUE Monday but next Monday will be here soon... Please do your self a favor and visit all the BLUE gals today...

I thought today I would show you a couple of my Louis Icart....Louis Icart was born in 1890 in Toulouse and died in Paris in 1950. He became most well known as an artist in New York in the 1920's. His most characteristic theme was glamorous women. Louis Icart's nickname was Helli derived from his initials L.I. These painting are getting harder to find original ones...there are allot of the re pops out there...so if you like them you can still buy them for your home..most of mine I bought in the early eighties when they were still affordable..the Japanese antique dealers came in and brought the market almost dry in the middle eighties...
This one is titled " Bella Rosa " ca. 1930 I just love all the PINK roses around her... Icart also did allot of nudes which I also have but this is a family friendly blog...so I won't share those...

This is one of my favorite ones I have hanging in my bathroom...it titled " Love Blossoms" ca. 1920 she is dressed in the softest shade of PINK...and this also was the first Icart I bought in 1981....and don't even want to tell you what I paid for it then...lets just say I had it on lay-away for awhile...We had an art gallery in San Francisco that would let me do that...I just loved the lady that owed it her name was Miss Daisy....and every time she would get one in she would call me...

I hope you enjoyed my PINK Icart's as much as I do...to me they are so Glam...
UPDATE: on my great grand daughter Kyra Shea..as many of you know she is only 2 weeks old today...and last week she had heart surgery at Dallas Children hospital....and was doing pretty well...on Tuesday they took her off of life support and we were all doing the Happy Dance !!! well she got infection around her weak little heart...so she again is on life support and losing weight real quick..they still have her very sedated and my Grand son can not even hold her yet...the last time he held her she was 6 hours old..So please would you keep her in your prayers...we are all so worried about her...I know God hears me calling out every day...
Hope all of you have a safe and Blessed day...
Hugs and smiles Gloria
